Epicgenius is taking a short wikibreak because he was bored to sleep while listening to Tobias Wolff talk, and wants to regain his insanity while watching Star Wars movies. He will return to Wikipedia when he masters the internet game, Agar.io, as well as watches all 7 seasons of Modern Family, all 10 seasons of Friends, all approximately 100.95424250943 seasons of The Big Bang Theory, etc. |

Hey
[edit]What's up? I go by the name Epicgenius on Wikipedia, though you can call me "Epic" or "EG" for short (or anything that incorporates significant parts of my name that will get my attention…)[citation needed]. I am actually Chinese in real life[citation is urgently needed, but apparently it is hidden somewhere], and currently live somewhere that is cooler than where you live, even if you live where I live.[1]
The following is a really exaggerated history of me.[citation still needed, and yet this tag will flounder around indefinitely ]
|
He does NOT likes unicorns (specifically My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic) (no, not really) the New York City Subway people saying stupid things about foxes football being a monkey (COULD YOU PLEASE NOT ADD ANY MORE TEXT? THANK YOU!) stuff.
He has an account under the same name on Uncyclopedia but doesn't really care for it. For reasons unclear to him, he has been blocked as of 15 November 2013. He's also Epicgenius on The Test Wiki. (Yes, I really am.)
He thinks the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory in New York City sells good ice cream.
His current local time is 02:06 PM (
). Not that he cares—he's up virtually 24/7! (Except nights, generally 10 PM to 6 AM.)He has been referring to himself in the third person for the past four paragraphs and will now refer to himself in the first person.

Awesome fake bio[edit]A Short and Fictional Origins Biography with No Relation to Actual People or Dogs in Real Life, Completely Written in a Third Person Perspective (NOT!)[edit]Epic (Genius, also genius) is a genius named Epic (Genius). Born to a genius and a genius,[note 1] in 조선민주주의인민공화국, the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, a.k.a Naughty Korea, Epicgenius fled to the other half of Korea, codenamed Nice Korea, on a five-dollar rubber boat, purchased from local Naughty Korean Lottemart stores, when he was just around 6.4 years old, and was fortunately successful! After two hours and fifty two minutes in Nice Korea, Epicgenius was finally granted official asylum in it. Epicgenius adapted to the peaceful life in Nice Korea, glad that he was free of the clutches of the Naughty Elites and their master, Kim Jong Very Very Ill. However, things took a turn when Gangnam Style was born. Epicgenius could not swallow the idea of fat Kim Jong Un lookalikes dancing and galloping like a boss (or a hoss), and decided to find further peace, in Singapore, next to Hong Kong, where the only noise was Lee Kuan (Loves) You mumbling about fertility rates (that was better than Oppa Gangnam). Contented, Epicgenius bought a one-room flat in Orchard (also known as a public toilet cubicle) for just five hundred dollars, but he was not yet 100% happy with just free water and soap and toilet bowl. Thus, Epicgenius got himself a laptop, which he cleverly swapped with his "home". Then he traded the laptop for a flower, and the flower for a chicken, and the chicken for a donkey, and the donkey for an elephant, and the elephant for a Godzilla-species dinosaur, and that for a house. This time, the house was a six room landed property in the Istana; Tony Tan liked dinosaurs, in turned out. Then, he moved to Iraq and almost instantaneously, it got bombed by some clown, so he had to go to the United States. And that's the end. Epicgenius lived happily ever after and creates crappy Wikipedia (and Uncyclopedia) articles like this.[note 2] He probably lives in Queens, New York, but isn't sure because he does not know if the world as we know it even exists (see below). Awesome fake bio, part 2[edit]Epicgenius never existed. He is just a part of your imagination. In fact, all of existence as you know it is part of your imagination. |

[edit]-
A ride on a typical old, 70-year-old car on the broken-down 500-year-old New York City Subway in 2014 will get you about 3 miles in an hour.[4]
-
The outside of said train. All the trains and stations there have graffiti from floor to ceiling.[5]
-
Damn! These are the tracks that the above subway car rides on? So, the infrastructure is spanking new, but we get 70-year-old subway cars and graffitied subway stations?
-
I take that back. Politicians obviously like to keep the brand-new stations to themselves. Wait, isn't that why we're in a worldwide economic recession?[6]
-
Choo choo! The next uptown train will arrive in... um... never!

[edit]Ding! Thanks for playing Wikipedia. Unfortunately, you just got pwned because you're a boneheaded moron. See Wikipedia:Complete bollocks. GAME OVER. Sorry, you lose, homeboy. Better luck next time. You probably aren't reading this part, so it really doesn't matter what we say here. More to the point, if you haven't bothered to read every single policy and essay on Wikipedia, including the ones that contradict each other, then is really your own fault and you should be ashamed of yourself. We don't have time to explain, it is up to you to find and read them all. And if you ever create the article again, then we will smack you with our banhammer and make you put big orange boxes all over your user page while you beg for your "edit this page" button to start working again. Face it, everyone will know you were caught and are a loser. Don't even think about it. If you've had this nice red box slap you in the face, feel free to go and tell all your friends that Wikipedia is full of killjoy nazis. Hey, why not set up an attack page or two, while you're at it? |
I'm about to delete this section because it is nonsense...!!

[edit]Some quotes:
- Wikipedia or other Wikimedia sites aren't jobs or anything and people shouldn't feel like they have to edit. People don't have to call it "retiring" either. No one retires from watching movies or playing games lol, unless its a clan in an MMO but people don't get upset about that anyway. – WikiOriginal-9
- This is a great project with a lot of great people. Such a small group has done a tremendous amount. – Shadowjams
- Our much-touted slogan is "the encyclopedia that anyone can edit". In principle that has to include experts, and people creating their first article. It also has to include unregistered editors. Most of us made our first edits before registering. Almost all of us occasionally get logged out without our realising it (for one thing, Mediawiki requires a separate log-in and when returning to Wikipedia, one finds oneself logged-out.) – Yngvadottir

[edit]- Skip if you are under 18: A lot of people say that vanilla sex is called such because it is bland or without "flavor", and they normally use this term to describe the missionary position or its kin. What they probably don't know is that the word vanilla derives from a Latin word via a diminutive form of the Spanish word vaina, meaning sheath as in that's what a vanilla bean pod looks like. What they might not realize is there's another word deriving from this same Latin root, and that of course is vagina, which literally means scabbard-- i.e., the sheath one puts one's sword into. Ergo vanilla sex is etmyologically appropriate and the blandness is just a coincidence.
- Skip if you are color blind: It is accepted that all the world's languages have words for white and black. If that language only has two words, those are them. If they have a third one it is almost always red, if they have a fourth green, and so on. In English there are only three verbs for becoming a color: To whiten, to blacken and to redden. (Golden of course, is an adjective) This means that these words must have been in such an old form of Anglo-Saxon that dates back to when "English" only had this many color words, unlike now, when it has this many.
- Skip if you can't understand irony at all, like really?: A lot of people think that Utopia means a good place. This misunderstanding is from Sir Thomas More's 1516 book, which described a fictional land where everything was perfect. However, what More intended the etymology to be was u- (οὐ) meaning "not" or "non", so that it would be a place that didn't exist (-topia comes from topos (τόπος) meaning "place"), a non-place. However, modern English speakers have pronounced the word utopia not like /uːˈtoʊpiə/ with an oo sound, but as /juːˈtoʊpiə/, where the /ju/ is similar in sound to the word you as in words like euthenasia or euphony meaning good-death or good-sounding. So? So, that means that inadverntently in Modern English we have changed the meaning of "Utopia" by misunderstanding the referent, and by further mispronouncing the word, we have actually ended up giving it the meeting previously ascribed to it, i.e. a "eutopia" which would actually mean, "good place" in Greek.

[edit]From Rampart (film):
An attempt to market the film via the social news website Reddit went "horribly wrong"[9] according to Forbes. A popular feature of Reddit is the "AMA" section (short for 'ask me anything'), where notable people engage in Q&A sessions with the Reddit community.[10] Within this format, Harrelson agreed to answer questions from the users of the site, who were disappointed by his answers, and his apparent misunderstanding of the format,[11] resulting in some of the site's users vowing to "boycott the flick".[12] CNET characterized one of Harrelson's responses as "sheer oozing, all-about-me-ism".[13] Josh Feldman with MediaIte shared the following perspective: "a proxy for the actor basically gave vague answers to half of the questions and in-no-way subtle plugs for his upcoming movie Rampart to the other half. It was a public relations nightmare, and while it certainly raised awareness about the movie, it definitely backfired." Feldman went on to say about the incident, "it came across as robotic and represented an inability to connect with people when it should have been insanely easy to do so."
