- Very impressive expansion with this edit, which more than qualifies the fivefold expansion requirement. Unfamiliar with the subject matter but the sources used do not give me any red flags in terms of reliability. The hook fact occurs in the Trophic eggs section of the article and is sourced. The tool identifies this as a first-time nomination so no QPQ required. No issue I can think of.--NØ 21:00, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
- @E.a.eslinger and MaranoFan: It appears the hook is in the lead cited with citation 2. However the correct target article for that sentence is in this source. Also an FYI, the lead should be an intorduction/summary and without citations. The items in the lead should be in the body per WP:LEADCITE. It is not a disqualifier for DYK, just good writing.
