"Fails WP:GNG. The subject claims to be "a term used by Armenian chroniclers" yet all the sources for that are Georgian, and none of them seem to be noteworthy"
First of all, the sources aren't "Georgian" as you have noted them to be, these "Georgian" sources are build up on medieval Armenian ones. Also, you are being biased. Since you say "none of them seem to be trustworthy." So first of all:
1) one of the sources contains studies of [Javakhisvhili] Who was a Georgian historian and a linguist whose voluminous works heavily influenced the modern scholarship of the history and culture of Georgia. He was also one of the founding fathers of the Tbilisi State University (1918) and its rector from 1919 to 1926.
2)You making it seem that it's not "trustworthy" makes me feel very confused. people make such decisions for calling things "not noteworthy" only after READING the sources and judging them after. as I know you are not a Georgian speaker so how could you even judge it? There is no place of unwanted nationalism in the fields of modern history and the fact that you call every Georgian source "not noteworthy" is heavily biased and corrupted.
Starevaci's Edit warring
[edit]Hello @Steverci:
After trying to delete this page without success, you now want to delete the sourced information.
The version that should be retained for the duration of the discussion (if you decide to discuss) is the version that has been voted on. You must first find a consensus and then modify the article if you are right.
As you can see on the Chechil page I'm waiting for a consensus on the talk page even if it's not my version of the article (you must do the same and wait).
Take to talk or face a block, you can't just edit-war your ideas in. You threaten me with a report but your report will come back at you like a boomerang (WP:BOOMERANG).
Thank you--Van Gogia (talk) 15:18, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
Failed verification sources
[edit]Javakhk in the 19th century and the 1st quarter of the 20th century does not make any mention of "early Proto-Georgian tribal formation of Diauehi".
"Trace Elements in Medicine does not make any mention of Georgian or Javakhians.
"Oxford Music Online" does not make any mention of Erebuni.
"Oxford Dictionary of Late Antiquity" does not make any mention of "assimilation of the Georgians".
There is no book with the author "Rayfield" cited.
Restoring the edits of the indefinitely blocked SonofJacob should be regarded as vandalism at this point. --Steverci (talk) 02:06, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Steverci,
- You make me work a lot đ. This is very good.
- Thank you for these verifications. Thanks to you I have deepened and consolidated the article even more.
- All sources have been clarified and references added.
- Nothing should be a problem now. If you have anything else to point out, please mention it here and don't get into an editing war.
- Have a good day --Van Gogia (talk) 14:13, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
- Please stop re-adding failed verification sources. --Steverci (talk) 02:27, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
- 0)Hello Starevaci, you can't keep reverting me without arguments. There is a real risk of blockage.
- 1) On the pretext that you want to remove only the sources you quote and corresponding information, you remove a lot of other information/sources/illustrations/formulations. You know it's noticeable, don't you?
- 2)
- "Trace Elements in Medicine" is no longer in the article.
- "Oxford Music Online" referred to "Israelyan, Margarit A (1971). Erebuni: The History of a Fortress-City pp. 8â15" and was replaced by this accordingly -> (pp. 8â15 check it).
- "Oxford Dictionary of Late Antiquity" refers to this on page 14 and I have added a readable online version so don't talk about what you haven't checked, it's disrespectful.
- And stop edit warring, wikipedia is not the right place to impose your ideas without sources and without discussion.
- PSÂ : Why did you remove the other sources and sourced information?
- Best, --Van Gogia (talk) 08:52, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
- "Javakhk in the 19th century and the 1st quarter of the 20th century : a historical research" does not mention "Zabaha".
- Please stop re-adding failed verification sources. --Steverci (talk) 02:27, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
- "Erebuni: The History of a Fortress-City" does not mention anything "Diauehian".
- "Urartäische Toilettenkästchen aus Erebuni", though I can't read German, would be making strongly WP:UNDUE claims and is also very outdated.
- Strabo never mentions Kartvelian tribes.
