Themself

[edit]

Greetings, all. In the plot section, there's this phrase: "..an inverted soldier with a red trinket appears and sacrifices themself." Is there any guideline about using "themself" in Wikipedia about an individual of unknown sexual or gender identity? Thanks in advance. -The Gnome (talk) 21:21, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WP:PRONOUN: Gender-neutral pronouns should be used (or pronouns avoided) where gendered language is not necessary, and especially when gender is not specific or unknown. InfiniteNexus (talk) 01:40, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Locations include a war memorial in tallin

[edit]

The scene where the protagonist and arms dealer are in dialogue about tenet and time is shot at the war memorial just outside tallin.

"Scientific accuracy" subsection

[edit]

Is the "Scientific accuracy" subsection really needed when all the information there, including the same reference, can be read on the previous "Writing and pre-production" subsection? Besteirense (talk) 13:18, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You're right that it's redundant. I would advocate more for the content to be in "Scientific accuracy" over "Writing and pre-production". The latter could be simpler, where the former can be an independent review of the filmmakers' approach, judging it as scientifically accurate or not.
