NFC for logo
[edit]It has come to my attention that there are 3 different variants of the Super Bowl 59 Logo. The first one being on the article, the second one being found here, and one found here. Now, I have a screenshot of the YouTube Short's logo saved, and I am curious if we could replace the current logo from Wikimedia Commons with either one. We just need an official source to add for the NFC information. Please feel free to reply, or talk on my user page. Thank you! - Mod creator 🏡 🗨 📝 00:34, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
- lets just use the second logo. KameronS333 (talk) 03:51, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
will anyone add the logo for super bowl lix
[edit]we saw multiple logos but they get deleted by the bot. lets use this logo here. KameronS333 (talk) 22:37, 13 February 2024 (UTC)

Results of Super Bowls LIX
[edit]Shouldn't you include the results, or are Wikipedia users going to have to do another search? Ileanadu (talk) 11:54, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
- The results for what? The game will be played on February 9, 2025. As of today (June 29, 2024), there are no results because the game has not been played yet. HCTiger9704 (talk) 14:38, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

I would like for the following change to be made:
− | It | + | It will be the eighth Super Bowl played in the Superdome, and the 11th in the city of New Orleans, the most recent being Super Bowl XLVII in 2013, held in the same venue (then called Mercedes-Benz Superdome). |
"Would" implies that it's not a certainty that the game will be played at the Superdome, when it's an absolute certainty at this point. 100.7.34.111 (talk) 20:46, 11 November 2024 (UTC)

In the security part, in the "there" is says " [t] cant tell if that's a mistake or intentional Drunkensailor345 (talk) 18:30, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
- It looks intentional, indicating that the reference has it at the start of a sentence ("There will be...") but here it is placed in the middle of a sentence so lower case "t" is substituted. LizardJr8 (talk) 19:57, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
Not done: I agree with LizardJr8, this is not an error. Marking this request as answered. DrOrinScrivello (talk) 16:53, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
Broadcasters
[edit]This article is missing that it will be available across NFL digital properties, not just NFL+. https://www.tvtechnology.com/news/fox-sports-to-stream-super-bowl-lix-on-tubi-a-first Reddsas321 (talk) 02:30, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
Don’t be annoying, add the Arabic numerals
[edit]Show the number Super Bowl it is (59). 50.245.190.85 (talk) 01:32, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
- I agree, possibly in the opening
- “Super Bowl LIX (59) is the upcoming American football championship game of the National Football League (NFL) for the 2024 season…” Jacket2018 (talk) 23:09, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
- Except for Super Bowl 50, the NFL has never used Arabic numerals and there is no reason for Wikipedia to do so. Assadzadeh (talk) 23:19, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
First Picture Caption
[edit]The caption under the first picture on this page featuring the super bowl location has the wrong date for the event as it should be the 9th or if the sentence is describing something else the date is still misleading as I do not believe there is a 29th of February this year. 98.18.167.192 (talk) 01:41, 6 February 2025 (UTC)

Photo of Donald Trump
[edit]A photo of Donald Trump is irrelevant to this article, which should be focus on the game itself. Please do not add it until you get consensus via this Talk page. Assadzadeh (talk) 04:46, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Assadzadeh It is neither relevant nor necessary to describe the game and its outcome. Apesbrain (talk) 06:09, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
- You're correct for those who only watch the Super Bowl for the halftime show and the commercials. Assadzadeh (talk) 06:17, 10 February 2025 (UTC)

Exchange photo of T. Swift for one of Jake Elliott
[edit]She is irrelevant to the game, but he kicked 4 FGs setting or tying all-time SB records. Most if not all of his scoring kicks came on second longer yardage attempts due to penalties committed by his teammates. His was the most accurate performance by a kicker in SB history. Apesbrain (talk) 06:01, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
Focus of article
[edit]The focus of this article should be kept on the game itself, not all the extraneous events associated with it. When editing articles, I ask myself "If someone is reading this article years from now, are they going to care about the details listed?" For example, I have been watching since Super Bowl XX and except for a few memorable halftime shows (e.g. Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction), I can't remember most of the performers nor which celebrities were in attendance, but can tell you who won each game and to some degree of accuracy the final score.
I hope that my comments do not offend anyone, but rather start a conversation as to what should and should not be included to improve this article and others like it. Assadzadeh (talk) 07:12, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
Lead section needs to be rephrased
[edit]Hello, The lead section needs to be rephrased to be similar to the other Super Bowl articles. Can editors please move some sentences and make the lead section stand out more? Sparkbean (talk) 12:02, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
