Notability
[edit]A notability tag had been placed and subsequently removed from this; the contention being that the subject is "clearly notable", which I dispute (and have thence restored the tag). If anyone can help those of us unfamiliar with the subject understand what makes this particular person notable, please add such information to the article. Please keep the tag until this issue is addressed, ie. until additional information is added which unambiguously demonstrates notability. DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:22, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- PS: If there is a policy whereby all Ambassadors are considered notable by default, please advise. DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:00, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
Single source
[edit]A 'single source' tag had been placed on and subsequently removed from this article; the contention being that this was somehow "misleading" and that other (better?) tag(s) could have been used instead. I have restored the tag, given that (at the time of writing this) only a single source is indeed cited, and that source is a primary one close to the subject of the article. If anyone can provide additional secondary WP:RS citations, please do so. Please do not remove the tag without addressing this concern (except, possibly, where the tag can be replaced with a more appropriate one). DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:29, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- I have replaced this tag (this time using the 'BLP one source' version which is probably more appropriate), because the article continues to rely on one source only. Several citations of the same reference still count as a single source. Please do not remove the tag until additional source(s) is added, and one that is not closely associated with the article subject, and also ideally WP:RS secondary. The tags are there for a reason, folks, and we don't improve articles by simply removing the tags without addressing the underlying issues. DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:56, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
