Makeup and prosthetics section garbled text

Can't really make out what's being said here near the end of the second paragraph of this section;

"Actor playing the part o the disfigured recruimtent seargeant a double ampuette legs with a prosthetic build steel hand made from urethane, a type of foam, fitted like a glove, with a harder type of urethane to look like steel plates."
