You ought to know an important thing: Revell did *NOT* use manga models, those are all from FASA's BattleTech universe and not even changed much.

vast errors on the article page (already corrected by me)

Revell did not license japanese Mechas, but BattleTech 'Mechs. The whole setting of "Robotech Defenders" has no resemblance to the Japanese "Robotech" Animes and Mangas. I still have one of the Grelon Assault Walkers, where the introductionary comic and an overview to all Defenders Mechs are given, hence I know.

I took the liberty to correct the article in most aspects. However, there are still some errors, and links proving my corrections will be added.

EDIT: made a mistake, Zoltek is no Warmaster, but a Shadow Hawk. If I finally manage to get a new scanner, I will upload images of the Defenders (from a Revell advert flyer) and the flyer itself (the one that was included with each of the model kits).

I edited your edits. Please check your facts before you remove data that is correct. FASA and Battletech did not CREATE these Mechs, they licensed the models from their original Japanese sources. Revell obtained their licenses directly from Japanese sources as well, although not always the same company. Ironically, many of the Japanese companies licensed things that they had joint rights in to one group, while their partner company licensed the same product rights to that groups competitor. I have no problem with that ;-) thanks for doing my work :-). Might be that some of the data was correct, but the whole of the original page was so confuse that it even confused me. I hadn't been done with the page, though. You're right concerning BTech, I found that out recently, too. And yes, the confusion with imports and non-related "offsprings" under a mistakeable trademark brand are a hazard in itself :-)). The same principle as with the Mechs/Mecha applies to most of the free market... I am sure that most of the US Americans don't know that almost everything they use is technology that was developed (and often already used) in Europe before it came to the US, under other brand names and with confusing backgrounds. Wrong scale?

To the best of my knowledge the 1150 Thoren and 1152 Condar models are 1/48 scale though their boxes claim that they are 1/72. The 1151 Zoltec is also labelled 1/72 but efectively is 1/48 (as listed here), that's why it doesn't match the 1194 Robot Recovery Unit (just imagine how pissed off I was as a kid!). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tomoschmidt (talk • contribs) 16:54, 3 October 2017 (UTC)

German produced comic series

There was also a German produced comic series produced in 1984, apparently based directly on Revell's model kits. The credits I find are Script: W. Spiegel, Artwork W. Neugebauer, Printing: Kirchner OHG. I have the only Swedish issue, and I don't know how many issues appeared in West Germany. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 15:24, 27 April 2019 (UTC)
