Note about earlier version which was highly promotional with a lot of copyvio

[edit]

When I first saw this it was a highly promotional article full of copyright violations and dubious sources[1]. Credit should go to User:SafariScribe for turning it into an acceptable article. Doug Weller talk 16:26, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you @Doug Weller. I usually derive joy turning a notable messily written draft to the best I can. I even declined the request because of the initial promo and unnecessary addition that I suspect coi. The article is richly sourced and I may take it to GA when I feel I have well edited it. For now, it's goodly a normal article. I have more sources which I will fix therein. Thank you uhh. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 16:31, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@SafariScribe Creator blocked as a sock, but as it's really a different article now, no problem. Doug Weller talk 13:22, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Source verification

[edit]

@SafariScribe While trying to de-orphan this article I realized that the claim that Peter Seah was CEO of Capitaland from 2001 to 2015 cannot be verified. I have checked the source cited (TWL link) and it only confirms that Peter Seat was involved with Singapore Technologies (ST Engineering) as Chairman, making no mention of any CEO of Capitaland. I am surprised that such an extraordinary claim is not properly sourced, and may be entirely false. Could you please help check that the remaining citations actually say what the article claims they say? Toadspike [Talk] 14:22, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
