Née?
[edit]Is Munchetty her husband's surname, or her own? If the former, what is her maiden name? — 146.179.8.172 (talk) 14:57, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
Salary and Other Business Interests
[edit]Munchetty is currently a director of Naga Munchetty Limited (Companies house number 06603058). She is also paid between £150,000 and £199,999 in salary by the BBC. Is that a way to get more money from the BBC without declaring it? Or is she investing her salary in a company that does nothing? Worth investigating.
S.O.P. for celebs etc. They arrange to be paid as a limited-liability company, and pay themselves wages/salary from that. It stops them losing their personal fortunes if they go bankrupt. That's why celebrities you read about who go "bankrupt" still manage decent lifestyles.
Her main other income (on top of her BBC earnings) is for corporate hosting/speaking. Agencies which represent her for this include, for example, Kruger Cowne, JLA, and Speakers Corner.

Could someone clarify the following...
[edit]"She presents BBC One's BBC World News, BBC Breakfast and Victoria Derbyshire regularly from when she presented BBC Two's weekday financial affairs programme Working Lunch."Darllenydd proflenni (talk) 13:41, 26 July 2016 (UTC) Darllenydd proflenni (talk) 13:41, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
Her name.
[edit]I noticed there were two different versions of her name in the article. I found a recent interview in The Guardian that supported one of them so I changed accordingly. Always in the back of my mind, however, is the fact that, at least in the UK, The Guardian is known by many as The Grauniad because of its propensity for typos.
