Should be deleted

[edit]

Seems to me this article is just as sales promo for a dvd. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia not Amazon.com. I created a discussion here: Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion#Me and Bobby Fischer is nothing more than an ad for a non-notable DVD. BashBrannigan (talk) 00:06, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It should be made clear about what is happening here. There are 2 references to this film. One is a chess website and the only reference it provides is a Youtube video. Anyone can upload a video on Youtube, even the producers of the film, that doesn't provide notability. The second reference is a review of the film on an english icelandic website. It mentions the film premiered at the Green Light Films’ Bíódagar film festival. The only reference I can find to this festival are connected to the few references to the video.. In other words, this article is trying to self-generate notability. BashBrannigan (talk) 06:17, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I second the proposal by BashBrannigan. The quality of the content suggests this is personal footage rather than a documentary. The first source seems a candidate for BLPPROD. The promotion clip released on the Web seems to put it under G11. This article is used as a source for the clip. [1]
