[edit]re the prod, i think its an incorrect assertion to state that FKF would be non-notable. At the time of its launching, FKF was by no means non-notable in large parts of Sweden. At the time SAC was a force to recon with trade union politics in some district, and FKF reflected this influence. However, as SAC waned FKF became dormant and when there was some revival of the syndicalist project amongst youth, noone seemed very keep to raise the 'parliamentarian' legacy. --Soman 21:01, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Libertarian Municipal People is a poor translation of Frihetliga Kommunalfolket.
I suggest the following translation: Free Municipal People. The name "Libertarian" is here used as a false flag. Indeed these people oppose municipal election. However local communities are the basic building stone of a libertarian society, and might include elections. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Piet De Pauw (talk • contribs) 16:20, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
- I note that Google Translate comes up with Libertarian Municipal People. We need a Swedish speaker. --S. Rich (talk) 02:10, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
Libertarian Municipal People is an adequate translation, as the parties emerged out of the Swedish libertarian movement, and the use of "folket" is quite unusual a term to include in a party name in Sweden. It could also be translated as Libertarian Municipal League or League of Libertarian Municipalists (but this would of course be confusing, since Murray Bookchin came up with the term for his anarchist project much later. -- altemark — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.230.90.172 (talk) 12:33, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
