2025 opened with trumpet fanfares that first sounded OTD in 1725 (as the Main page had). Today I had a composer (trumpeter, conductor) on the main page who worked closely with another who just became GA, - small world! To celebrate: mostly flowers pics from vacation ;) - Thank you for improving article quality in January! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:17, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
I had to revert your changes to Pure Land Buddhism because you replaced multiple instances of ʻOkina with an apostrophe. They are not the same. ʻOkina is a letter of the Hawaiian alphabet which represents a glottal stop and is not a curly quote or interchangable with an apostrophe. Whatever automated tool you used seems ignorant of that fact, which mean you will need to make whatever changes you feel are necessary by hand or correct the errors caused by the automated tool. - Thanks. The apostrophe's were done by Auto-Ed. Perhaps you can get the AutoEd bot managers to make corrections. – S. Rich (talk) 17:15, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
Excess mortality in the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin important edit request
[edit]There is only one source for the numbers of killed during the Great Purges, and it is from The Guardian. Please, add this one too: https://www.prlib.ru/en/history/1920103. It is the website of the President of Russia admitting the numbers. Potestade (talk) 15:46, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
Secretary of the Navy nominee
[edit]Hi Srich32977, I posted some updates for John Phelan's article, President Trump's nominee for Secretary of the Navy. I think they would interest you as a member of WP:DONALDTRUMP and, if you agree with my suggestions, would you mind implementing them? Thank you! Mako246 (talk) 18:41, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
