Not an iranian ethnic group! Kurds are a mesopotamian ethnic group.

[edit]

Not an iranian ethnic group! Kurds are a mesopotamian ethnic group. The Kurds have an older history than Iranians and therefore are considered the indegenious people of the Mesopotamian area alongside with the Armenians, Assyrians & Chaldeans. This information must be corrected on the page “Kurds”. Don’t spread false information. Jafftribe (talk) 15:31, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Iranic refers to groups who speak languages from the Iranian branch of indo-Iranian languages family. closely related to Persian (Farsi), Pashto, and Balochi. For this they are classified as an Iranic people. it has nothing to do with what you're trying to claim. TahaKahi (talk) 21:25, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Antisemitism In This Article

[edit]

There is no mention of jewish kurds and jewish kurds who live in Israel, which is part of the kurdish diaspora. The article mentions the christian kurds but not the jewish kurds that have larger population. http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/History_of_the_Jews_in_Kurdistan

Ayyubid Map

[edit]

The Ayyubid Map on this page greatly exaggerates the Ayyubid territory in basically every direction. I recommend switching it to the first one on the Ayyubid page (I do not have the ability to do so). Joanofarc565 (talk) 04:31, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
