Tenth or Ninth

[edit]

Are we sure of the episode numbering? 136.32.62.205 (talk) 05:24, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, it should have been 10. I fixed it. --Fru1tbat (talk) 14:11, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The article intro says tenth but the Infobox says 9.
The episode list at Star Trek: The Next Generation (season 1) says it is episode 10. The previous episode is currently listed as 9 and the next episode is currently listed as 11. I think it I can safely also correct the Infobox to say this is episode 10. -- 109.78.194.208 (talk) 06:44, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • You'll need to note that this is part of the first season of the series.
  • The lead should be expanded a little to include more background information about the episode. I like the way people are writing up the articles on The Office with a note about where its broadcast, some brief background on the show, the subplots, and a little more detail about critic responses.
  • In Production: "...proved to be a turning point for the series in how scripts were produced." -- how was this?
  • The article should note the next time de Lancie returns to reprise the role of Q.
  • In "Reception," there's no information about the market share or viewership of the episode when it first aired.
  • You mention the guest actors in the infobox, but their roles there are not cited. Would be best if you added the roles next to the names in the "Production" section.
  • "Star Trek: The Next Generation actor Wil Wheaton reviewed the episode for the Huffington Post..." when did this review take place? Obviously after the series ended.
  • Dup link tool returns two results: "Q (Star Trek)" and "Star Trek: The Original Series."
  • Dab links shows no disambiguations. Checklink tool returns no errors with external links.
I am placing the article on hold pending the above comments. —Ed!(talk) 05:17, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the image of Marina Sirtis is offtopic? She was cut from multiple episodes, it wasn't anything in particular about this episode. By the end of the season she was left wondering if she was coming back (but the Crosby and McFadden left, and Rodennbery liked Sirtis so it worked out). That it isn't specifically relevant to this episode is it? I'd suggest another picture, such as of John de Lancie, or no picture at all. -- 109.78.194.208 (talk) 06:57, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
