Sadly, this web mag seems to be dormant, with no updates since #6 (Sep 2008). Uogpjf (talk) 14:43, 3 March 2009 (UTC) uogpjf~
Removed the comment about Flurb being dormant, as it is updated quarterly, a schedule which has been adhered to since inception. Euchrid (talk) 01:48, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Notable model
[edit]Flurb's model is notable in that the author of an accepted story retains full copyright, including the right to have the story published elsewhere, and to request that it be taken down at any time.
I don't know of a reputable zine that actually takes the author's copyright. Many markets buy nonexclusive rights, or exclusive rights that end after three months to a year. Most markets that archive material indefinitely allow the pieces to be taken down after the contracted period ends, on request. A fairly typical model, slightly better than most, but not a notable one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.253.204.13 (talk) 22:24, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
