Contested deletion[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because I am just entering the whole article, which is thoroughly researched and footnoted. Thanks. I am slow on data entry, but everything should be up by close of business today, May 20, 2016. Thanks! Contested deletion[edit]Please do not delete, my subject is worthy of this article. I am a plodding typist, but working diligently to enter all the material of this woman's very interesting and worthy life. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lynda Roy (talk • contribs) 19:10, 20 May 2016 (UTC) Contested deletion[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this person is notable for her participation in the wind down of Rhodesia by Minority rule and for being the first woman to take the reins of highly prestigious and male dominated organization -- much in the news with firsts to the moon, deepest part of the oceans, as examples. She's important. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lynda Roy (talk • contribs) 21:06, 20 May 2016 (UTC) I would join those who feel that this article has real value and should not be deleted. Ms. Rose is proactively building a major event focused on bringing today's methods of exploration into sharp focus. Further, Ms. Rose is a pioneer for women in exploration, undertaking many relevant expeditions and paving the way for female explorers to take leadership roles in traditionally male-dominated arenas. Please consider my comments in support keeping Ms. Rose's article. Alive2Dive (talk) 02:46, 1 June 2016 (UTC)Alive2Dive The discussion above is closed. Please do not modify it.
