I have translated this article from its Spanish Wikipedia counterpart. The academic notability requirements she meets are criteria 1, 4, and 7.

Elena meets criteria 1 and 4 because her scholarly discipline, women's human rights, is where she left a profound impact by establishing The Interdisciplinary Program of Female Studies which now lives on as the Center for Research on Gender Studies (Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios de Genero) in UNAM. Furthermore, when she worked in Casa del Lago, she established a series of reoccurring conferences focusing on topics important to women. She meets criteria 7 because by having used The Books of the Day, The Sun, One Plus One, The Working Day, Fem, as well as her other non-academic journalistic works, she furthered the feminist movement in Mexico. Her efforts were significant enough to be recognized by the Mexican government.

QuakerSquirrel, I'm fine with the article quality and other checks are also okay. However, I still feel that the Career section needs some copyediting. Sentences such as Furthermore, she also played a role in the creation of what is now known as one of Mexico City’s most well-known daily newspapers, Her dedication to human rights and women is evident through her literary workshops, which focused on Mexican feminism through the use of critical feminist literature and In her extensive professional career, Elena was focused on women. That's really good QuakerSquirrel. A sentence about her death? I tried to search but didn't find anything. An important figure who passed away six years ago and yet it isn't mentioned anywhere in the article except the DOD in the lede. QuakerSquirrel I'd AGF on offline citations (there's only one such citation) but the source indicated for death shows me "404 Not Found" error. Since the article has been adopted as a translation, and perhaps the link had related details any time in the past, I'd wait/check for an archive reference for this. The citation is used at four places. Another citation used at four places shows me "Oops! That page can’t be found" error. Any solution?
