[edit]I have reverted the last edit because the new paragraph contradicted long-standing information already on the page, as well as information on related pages (specifically: when Dukhat was killed). This, together with the very odd capitalization and at least one misspelling makes me wonder whether this edit was done in good faith...
This change is so confusing that I think it should be reverted until it has been clarified.

PS: If anyone wonders why my previous edit has such an odd description... it is because the cat stood on the keyboard :) It was going to be: 'Say why I reverted the edit about the "Ferdinand Incident"'
Spoiler warning
[edit]I think the spoiler warning should be placed above this sentence:
- Dukhat was killed and his protege Delenn, in a fit of rage, cast the deciding vote on the Council to wage a war of vengeance against Earth.
as that's an important plot point for a couple of episodes (Severed Dreams, A Late Delivery from Avalon). JulesH 17:33, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Minbari v Civilians
[edit]This used to say that the Minbari jumped in, destroyed all military and civilian targets, then jumped out. THis is clearly not the case, its explicit in 'In the Begining' that they were for all intents and purposes ignoring civilian targets until they destroyed all of the EA military, then they would head back the way they came and kill every human they see.
I mean they made it all the way to Earth and they sure as hell didn't wipe out every civilian population bar Mars and Earth after all. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 211.31.21.8 (talk) 11:22, 26 April 2007 (UTC).
Trivia Section
[edit]There are two points that could possibly do with a bit of clarification:
"When John Sheridan is telling the story of the Black Star's destruction to Ivanova in the second season episode Points of Departure, she asks how it was that he was able to destroy the Minbari flagship, having never heard the manuveur he used in the battle. This is contradicted in the TV movie, where in the beginning General Leftcourt shows footage of the battle to a assembled mass of EarthForce officers. He also mentions it will be given and repeatedly broadcast on all news channels and networks."
(a) Is this really a contradiction? Maybe Ivanova never heard, for whatever reason, of the tactic Sheridan used and (b) putting that aside for a second, this sounds - understandably, but still - like opinion, rather than citation. Maybe someone could pose this to JMS for comment?
"In the same episode, Sheridan remarks that "a fusion bomb doesn't have to lock on to anything if its close enough." In the movie, Sheridan uses nuclear mines, which are fusion-based explosives."
Politely, I'm not sure what's being said here. Is the implication that there is a discrepancy between Sheridan's description of the weapons first as fusion bombs, and then as nuclear mines, and then resolving the issue by pointing out that the latter are in fact a form of the former? I don't want to re-write unless I'm sure of the intention. :) 65.121.247.130 19:56, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
I think the reason Ivanova never heard Sheridan tactic was that she was grieving over her dead brother as she seems saying goodbye to him a few minutes before the attack on the Lexington in "in the beginning" -- MCDBBlits 01:48, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Minbari armada.jpg
[edit]Image:Minbari armada.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Merger
[edit]There was tag posted for merging Battle of the Line into this article. Seeing is how both articles are rather sizable (in length), and also both a major plot points. I'm against this.v --ShakataGaNai (talk) 23:01, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
- Actually the Battle of the Line article is not that lengthy, and at least half the information was duplicated on both articles. I've gone through and cleaned up the article and removed a lot of supposition and conjecture from it. I think they could go nicely together, but I suppose they can stay separate until someone else thinks it may be a good idea. Radagast83 (talk) 06:16, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
