The HS that Smith graduated from is listed on the KSU roster (http://www.kstatesports.com/SportSelect.dbml?SPSID=3197&SPID=220&DB_OEM_ID=400&KEY=&Q_SEASON=2005) and his first season as a track athlete at KSU was 2003.
