Last name, number of photos

[edit]

In regards to first name/last name usage: per the Manual of Style, Charms should be referred to by her last name after the initial mention of her entire name.

In regards to the multiple photos: per the Manual of Style, "Some general guidelines which should be followed in the absence of a compelling reason not to: ... Avoid sandwiching text between two images facing each other." -- Joie de Vivre 16:48, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't put so many images on one article unless it is rather long, or they all serve a particularly important function. All edits should be made to conform to the MOS, and should be altered if needed. Please talk to the IP on their talk page and attempt to put up a negotiation. If they won't respond and they continue, you may need full protection for disputes. In short, remove some images and make sure that the article conforms to the Manual of Style. bibliomaniac15 05:19, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image

[edit]

An agreement at Wikiproject Pornography, formed by consensus:

"... images should not be explicit in nature. Pictures with the genitals, bust, or buttocks of the person exposed should not be posted... The reason for this is to avoid any legal entanglements due to the 18 U.S.C. 2257. The point of a picture is to put a face to a name -- if people want pictures of the person, there is always Google search. We are here to create an encyclopedia, not a porn farm."

Restored version without an image.

There's an image of her here with a shirt on http://www.surgeontothestars.com/images/celebrities/chelsea_charms/Chelsea_charms.jpg perhaps that could be used? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.172.125.147 (talk) 07:08, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Biography

[edit]

Charms has appeared on the covers and in the pages of Buxotica, Score (March 2000), Hustler Busty Beauties (April 2000), and other adult magazines specializing in large breasted models.Sarenna Lee,Traci Topps and Tina Small.

Having “Ginormous” fake breasts, weighing Twenty-six pounds each Chelsea Charms could be billed as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”large breasts are due to polypropylene string breast implants. The string implants irritate the breast pocket which, in turn, promotes the production of fluid. The fluid is absorbed by the implant, resulting in continuous, gradual growth of the breast.[1][2]

On her website, Charms says that her bust size is 153XXX,although this size is disputed by others and that her breasts each weigh 26 pounds (11.8 kg).[3]

Charms has had breast augmentation surgery three times. The first augmentation enlarged her to an E cup, the second to an HH. Both were saline bags. The third surgery implanted the polypropylene string. In some cases of breast augmentation via the polypropylene method, the breasts may grow at different paces or at a dangerously accelerated rate. In her case, they have grown in unison, but their growth rate has steadily slowed over the years. The initial string content was equivalent to 2500cc. Her doctor estimates the growth has increased the size of each breast to over 7000cc.[4]

When asked if her bust size causes her back pain, she replied that it does not if she keeps up with exercise. She loves to read, averaging about one book a week. Her favorite authors are Ha Jin, Anne Rice and Charles Dickens.[4]|Favorite Films = Matrix,’ ‘Grease,’ and ‘Saving Private Ryan.’Favorite music Johnny Cash [5]

Chelsea was the subject for British artist Marc Quinns body of work on people who manipulate their own bodies and override mother nature. The life size marble sculpture of Chelsea was part of Quinns exhibition at the White Cube gallery in London, May 2010 called 'Allanah, Buck, Catman, Chelsea, Michael, Pamela and Thomas'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.142.77.104 (talk) 16:33, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Question about dates and references

[edit]

I would like to edit a portion of this biography. I would like to change it to read like this "During a television interview on the set of "This Morning", in May 2011, Charms told the hosts of the show that her bust size is currently ". . .164XXX, with each implant weighing 26 pounds." and denies that the size of her breasts cause her any back pain, stating that she does exercises to strengthen her back. Rather than this "In an interview, Charms says that her bust size is "153XXX", and that her breasts each weigh 26 pounds (11.8 kg).[2]

My source is foxnews.com this article. My question is How do I tell if the information I found is more recent than the information already here? I looked at the reference information provided for the current info and there are no dates. Is there any easy way to find out what I need to know in order to make the edit in good faith?ȚttØØditre§ 02:52, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This help request has been answered. If you need more help, please place a new {{help me}} request on this page followed by your questions, or contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page.

Adding this help template its been awhile since I left this question above ȚttØØditre§ 00:15, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tattooed, Long time no speak. You would be making the edit in good faith regardless:-) What you're talking about is making the edit with due diligence and I commend you for asking. I think you should go ahead, because first, we prefer secondary sources over primary sources and second, because the reliability of the transcription is from a website that appears to me to be of untested and unknown provenance, while Fox News is a recognized news provider which speaks to it being more reliable. Of course, according to the article these implants grow so it may be that both sources are correct, but yes, I would support the change. As for the actual question about how to find out the website's date, I don't know. That's part of the problem with that source and its reliability. I'll leave the helpme request open to see if anyone has anything to add.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 01:14, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much that is a big help to me and I appreciate your time. ȚttØØditre§ 04:22, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Weight?

[edit]

OK, my problem is, her weight is stated at 54 kg; This is compatible with a normal woman of her eight and body type.

However, the article states that her breast implants have been estimated, by physicians, to have enlarged to the point of containing, each, 15000 cc of what is, almost entirely, water.

In turns, this means that her breasts alone should weight more than 30 kg, leaving 24 kg to represent the weight of the whole of her body minus the breasts.

Call it "original research" if you want, but I can hardly believe it. 81.44.206.140 (talk) 13:54, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, it's dubious. I've removed it. Until we can find a source, we should leave it out. Dismas|(talk) 14:08, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
