On 22 December 2024, it was proposed that this article be moved to Cal State Fullerton. The result of the discussion was not moved.

Campus Violence - DELETE

This section should be deleted. Most universities have been the site of murders at some time in their past, and CSUF does not stand out in any way in that regard. Nearby UCI, UCLA, and USC, for instance, have all had notable murders, yet their Wiki pages make no mention of them. 130.76.186.15 (talk) 20:44, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. The full name provides a WP:TITLECON consistent naming convention across all articles on universities and colleges in the United States. Many reliable sources like Forbes and US News and World Report still use the full name. The OP has also made numerous individual RMs on this same issue like this one, which may violate WP:ACROTITLE or use a shorter common name that is rarely used outside a sports/athletic context.
