Master's degree in Ph.D. program
[edit]Did she drop out of PhD program at SIO? Or how did she get a masters from SIO which normally only grants doctorates? "In some fields or postgraduate programs, work on a doctorate begins immediately after the bachelor's degree, but the master's may be earned along the way, as a result of the successful completion of coursework and certain examinations. In some cases the student's bachelor's degree must be in the same subject as the intended master's degree, or in a closely allied discipline; in others, the subject of the bachelor's degree is unimportant"[1] [2] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mbaha (talk • contribs) 19:31, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Also she does not has a thesis on file at the SIO library, if she had produced one it would be housed at the SIO library. [3] [4] Mbaha (talk) 19:36, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- Many research universities will not admit students seeking a master's degree in the hard sciences, mathematics, and history. However, if you enter the Ph.D. program, pass classes for two or more years, but then are unable to pass your comps and/or write a dissertation, they typically grant you an M.S. at that point. For example, if someone has an M.S. in math or physics from the University of California, you can be pretty sure they were in a doctoral program but didn't complete it. I would guess that is what Ms. Stevens did. Can anyone verify this? — Lawrence King (talk) 01:41, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Spinal Tap
[edit]shouldn't spinal tap be included in her filmog? it's a minor appearance -- doesn't speak, uncredited -- but so are some of the other listings here, and for far lesser films.
given the cult status of this movie, i'd submit that even a minor appearance in it was a career highlight. 2601:19C:527F:A660:79E3:EC66:3F26:E58D (talk) 03:56, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
