Didn't she also chart with "Gimme a Little Kiss, Will Ya, Huh?" in 1951? I'm not a music expert and don't have a reference so I don't feel comfortable editing the main page.

Edit war vs. record labels in discography

[edit]

User:Revirvlkodlaku is making the unfounded claim that record labels are not standard parts of a discography. Record labels and years of recording or release of a record are indeed cornerstones of discographies. Editor has not made arguments here (rather than deleting productive edits).Dogru144 (talk) 23:33, 22 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Dogru144 I have a few points to make with respect to your actions and comment. Firstly, my claim isn't entirely unfounded. Were you to do a cursory search of band discographies—those that do not include a table, that is—you could likely find an equal number that includes record labels as ones that do not. Please make sure your accusations are factual.
Whether or not your edits are productive is to be determined through discussion, you can't accurately decide that on your own. I'm glad you did start the discussion here, though you are thereby accusing me of edit warring. I'll point out to you that by reinserting content that I deleted, YOU in fact launched the edit war, according to the definition that I understand.
You need not refer to me in the third person—feel free talk to me directly, as I'm happy to have this conversation with you in a civil manner.
For the record, if including record labels is important enough to you, I won't fight you on it, as it's not important enough to me. However, by reverting my edit, you also reinserted content that legitimately does not belong in the article (the See also section), so I enjoin you not to revert wholesale out of frustration but to restrict yourself to undoing edits that are directly relevant to your grievance. Cheers! Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 00:18, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
