Secrecy
[edit]I removed the "secrecy" category from this article: public sources like http://sfahistory.org/meetings2008.htm and Google searches such as http://www.google.com/search?q=Big+Safari+site%3A.mil show that the existence of this program isn't a secret. -- Gigacephalus (talk) 07:28, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
- @Gigacephalus:, since the time you made the edits and added this Talk Page topic, at least one book has been published which describes The History of Big Safari (by Bill Grimes, ISBN 9781480804562) in great detail. I have a copy… Great book.

List of past projects
[edit]The Grimes book mentioned in the comment above mentions many projects and timelines from the inception of the Big Safari program until the publication of the book. Would it add meaning to the article to add a list of programs supported by Big Safari? Or, does anyone have the time to add many prose paragraphs that illustrate the wide path Big Safari cut for American technological advances in aviation and reconnaissance? Seems like this would be a great deal of information to add and might stress the importance of the program better. Thoughts? — TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 19:40, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
