"By-product"

[edit]

Just for the record, Dreadstar's revert of your recent edit to the Savage/Santorum article was, IMHO, quite appropriate. The subject of Savage's intent had already been deliberated and pretty well resolved. While you are correct that the "by-product" ultimately became the definition of choice, Savage's "intent", at least at the outset of the campaign, was non-specific as to that final product. Hope that helps assuage any heartburn you might have experienced because of the revert...and thanks for your participation. JakeInJoisey (talk) 20:05, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gaddafi

[edit]

Why do you write "see talk page" in the edit summary when you haven't commented there on the issue at all? Mewulwe (talk) 10:03, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As in "see the comments by other editors on the talk page". You appear to be in a minority of one on this issue, and the comments of other editors seem valid to me. The onus is thus on you to provide reliable sources that support your preferred text in accordance with Wikipedia's content policies to the satisfaction of other editors, rather than edit-warring over it. -- Gigacephalus (talk) 10:08, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've now added my opinions on this to the talk page in question. I think the conclusions that can be made from the talk page contents and Wikipedia policies are reasonably clear at this point. -- Gigacephalus (talk) 10:43, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Censorship in NZ

[edit]

I see you have been adding some links such as Indecent Publications Tribunal and Indecent Publications Act to articles. Are you interested in creating those articles? Cheers. -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 20:38, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions. There was not much content in this article you created - please see the consensus to merge. I have done so. Please be sure that next time you create an article, you have enough material to make it an article - not just a dictionary definition. Thank you. Maschen (talk) 10:42, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page German (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Four-quadrant movie has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not much more than a dictionary entry here. No sources talk about the term itself, and there's not much to say about the class of films as a whole that isn't covered in Blockbuster (entertainment) or Tent-pole (entertainment).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Zzyzx11 (talk) 03:39, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Regalian Properties

[edit]

The article Regalian Properties has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.
