Why should this article be deleted?

Hello, what do you exactly mean by 'doesn't appear notable for its own page'? Are you suggesting that there is too much information that is 'not applicable to the title' because if so I can proof read and take it out if it is for some reason 'not appealing to you'. You can just remove 'unnecessary' information yourself anyway I'm sure we'd be fine with it because this isn't just 'my article' others are allowed to edit as well.

I think this article should be kept since it's a famous match for International rugby league considering matches never come up to be played here in the Pacific Islands and registered players will also be allowed to play for their country's since they don't play for them when they go promote the game elsewhere e.g. the Ohana Cup in Hawaii, where Samoa face Tonga and Canada face Fiji in mid-season.

Hi RLF, I proposed it to be deleted because I don't think it meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines for its own article. In short, I don't think a one off test match such as this one will have enough independent coverage to warrant its own article. If you want to contest the proposal you need to remove the template from the article, otherwise the page will be deleted. Mattlore (talk) 03:18, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
