Karand (Persian: كرند)[a] is a village in Lajran Rural District of the Central District of Garmsar County, Semnan province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 777 in 205 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,104 people in 322 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,273 people in 386 households; it was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
