Sorkheh County (Persian: شهرستان سرخه) is in Semnan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sorkheh.[3]

History

After the 2011 National Census, Sorkheh District[a] was separated from Semnan County in the establishment of Sorkheh County, which was divided into one district of two rural districts, with Sorkheh as its capital and only city. After the 2016 census, Hafdar Rural District was separated from the Central District in the formation of Hafdar District.[3]

At the time of the 2016 census, the county's population was 15,523 in 5,330 households.[2]
