Welcome to the Information Superhighway is the name of an upcoming title from Little Inferno creators, Tomorrow Corporation. The game was announced in March 2018, after the developers announced that they were finishing off their previous title, 7 Billion Humans

In March 2018, Tomorrow Corporation announced on their website that they were finishing off development on 7 Billion Humans, and also revealed what would their next game be titled as.

In the announcement, Tomorrow Corporation states;

In addition to wrapping up 7 Billion Humans, we've also been quietly working on another new game – currently going by the title "Welcome to the Information Superhighway". (We last visited that highway a long time ago, in a very different game!)
This is shaping up to be one of the more game-like games we've made. We've got a long way to go on a long crooked road, but thought we'd update here as we discover more about it.
What is this internet highway all the kids are faxing about these days? Can I go on an incredible road trip and make lots of broken new friends along the way? Isn't Tomorrow Corporation made of three grumpy old people who don't know how to use social media? Yes!

Development

The Game was revealed in an announcement post on Tomorrow Corporation's Website, teasing their fans for what their fourth title is going to be called. From what Tomorrow Corporation has mentioned about in the initial announcement post, they have brought up that the game is becoming more of a "game-like-game" they've made.

In interviews with the developers a few months after the title was announced, Tomorrow Corporation revealed on some interviews that Welcome to the Information Superhighway would be about going on a road trip, picking up broken friends and losing them along the way
