Rainy Miller, the stage name of Jack Bowes is a British musician and music producer from Longridge, Lancashire.[1]
He released his debut album Limbs in 2019 and rose to prominence around 2022 as part of a scene of closely linked artists based in Salford and Manchester who began releasing numerous releases during that time. These artists include Blackhaine, Space Afrika, Aya, Afrodeutsche and Iceboy Violet with many of the artists crediting the scene built around the local music venue The White Hotel.[2][3][4][5]
Desquamation (Fire, Burn. Nobody) his second album was released on HEAD II records in 2022.[6][7]
Rainy Miller and Space Afrika self released a collaborative album A Grisaille Wedding in 2023.[8][9][10][11]
