Summary
[edit]A rich, elderly man intoxicates himself with tarantula's venom regularly. His doctor, tired of all attempts to stop the man from this deadly obsession, turns to Byomkesh Bakshi for help. Byomkesh, with his trusted friend Ajit, visits the man to figure out where he sources the venom from, when he is all but isolated from the world. There are mysterious blank sheets, sent to an unknown lady. The thrilling novella shows Byomkesh's brainpower and expertise as the reader is glued to the pages to know what happens.

[edit]The story has been adapted into a audio story, aired by Sunday Suspense as part of their Byomkesh Bakshi series. It was voiced by RJ Mir, RJ Deep and RJ Neel.[2]

[edit]The story was adapted into an episode for the Hoichoi Web Series Byomkesh, Season 1, Episode 2 [3][4], starring Anirban Bhattaacharya as the titular character of Byomkesh.
