The 1965–66 season was F.C. Motagua's 19th season in existence and the club's first season in the professional era.[1]
Overview
[edit]Under the management of coach Ernesto Henríquez, the club was selected as one of the first ten teams to participate in the first ever professional football season in Honduras.
