Football league season
The 2024–25 Malaysia A1 Semi-Pro League , currently known as the 2024–25 MBSB Bank Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the fourth season of the Malaysia A1 Semi-Pro League , currently the second tier football league in Malaysia , since its establishment in 2019.[ 1]
The league will kick-off with 15 teams into one single group of league. The top two teams in the middle of league season will qualify for The 2024–25 Malaysia Cup while the top two teams at the end of the season will play in play-offs to determine which teams will qualify for promotion to the 2025–26 Malaysia Super League season. The bottom two teams will be relegated to the Malaysia A2 League .[ 2] [ 3]
15 teams confirmed their participation in the 2024–25 Malaysia A1 Semi-Pro League.[ 3] [ 4]
