Champions Trophy edit
[edit]Probably the dumbest edit I have seen in a while. I can only assume you didn't read the article - It doesn't contani either "Champions" or "Trophy" and talks about semi-final qualification - and is for a completely different tournament. And the apparent belief that South Africa (who qualified 3 days ago, even on the ICCs web feed) are :not confirmed" is just so utterly hilarious. How are they going to finish 9th or 10th? How? How? Please do better. 110.33.28.251 (talk) 22:12, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

November 2023
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from 2023 Cricket World Cup into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — SamX [talk · contribs] 14:35, 4 November 2023 (UTC)

The article The Grey Part of Blue (2019 short film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NFILM
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DonaldD23 talk to me 13:54, 16 November 2023 (UTC)

Page moves
[edit]Hello, Vestrian24Bio,
I'm not sure why you are doing this but please stop moving around your User pages, changing your mind and then moving them to a new, different page title. Just let them be wherever they are at and work on them at that page title. Every time you move a page, it creates a Redirect page and now you probably have more Redirect pages in your User space than you do pages with actual content. All of these page moves are unnecessary. Just consider where you want a page and move it ONCE, not multiple times.
If you have questions, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 06:16, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- I see now that I've already left a message about your page moves at User talk:Vestrian24Bio#Page moves. I guess it had no effect on your behavior. Please do not do more unnecessary page moves or it could become disruptive editing. Thanks. Liz Read! Talk! 06:19, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- I'm sorry about that. I haven't moved pages since your last message.
- It was just until recent when I noticed a misspelt page in my User namespace; which led to the moves of it and it's subpages.
- Again, I'm sorry about this. 𝓥𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓪𝓷24𝓑𝓲𝓸 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 11:39, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
Regarding List of highest-grossing Tamil films
[edit]Hello, I noticed that you reverted my edit (executing an edit request) to List of highest-grossing Tamil films and cited Wikipedia:ICTFSOURCES. However, I cannot find any mention of the New Indian Express, which is the site that I referenced, on that page. Could you please elaborate further? Thanks. Thriftycat Talk • Contribs 14:29, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- Not all the Indian websites are reliable; Some are unreliable as they are fan based or written to get public attention. As per WP:RELIABLESOURCES.
- To make it easier The Indian Cinema Task Force has created a list of reliable sources–WP:ICTFSOURCES.
- This list includes the Indian websites which can be trusted enough; while other websites could contain fake news.
𝓥𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓪𝓷24𝓑𝓲𝓸 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 14:58, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- Per WP:ICTFSOURCES, The Indian Express is reliable and trustworthy.
- But since the group's split in 1999, the southern edition named The New Indian Express is not considered reliable.

- Okay, thanks. I wasn’t aware that the list was intended as an exclusive allowlist Thriftycat Talk • Contribs 18:00, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
