[edit]The problem is that your article is failing to demonstrate that he's notable enough to belong in an encyclopedia. You might want, first and foremost, to read our conflict of interest guidelines to understand why it's generally a bad idea to write articles about your own parents; if they genuinely do belong in an encyclopedia, then somebody else will eventually get to it. It's also important to understand that being prominent in a local community is not necessarily enough to justify an article here — if you want your article to be kept, the goal is to demonstrate why he might be important enough to have an article in an international encyclopedia. We already know you care; the question is why should I care to read about him? Why should some guy in Germany care? Why should some woman in Singapore care? What is it that makes him someone the rest of the world needs information about? Bearcat (talk) 04:39, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
Note to Bearcat He is an Italian immigrant who made a difference in Canada. He received the order of Cavaliere from the president of the Italian republic which is the highest order of recognizance the Italian government can give to a citizen of its Country. Leon Vellone was a Canadian citizen when he received this distinction. This quite Notable!
Please re install my article Sandbox it if you want but please put it back. Vellone 23 November 2010 at 9:52

- If you are neither of the above, your account will remain blocked as it would still seem to represent the Vellone group of companies. Thanks Wifione ....... Leave a message 06:21, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
