Pakistani cricket team in Australia in 2016–17

[edit]

Hi. We don't add every last piece of trivia to these type of articles. 1st century. Yes. But not a random xth century. If anything, these bits of info go on the biography page. If you feel strongly about this, then per WP:BRD, you'll need to raise this issue on the article's talkpage. Thanks. Lugnuts Precious bodily fluids 10:57, 15 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Lugnuts: Hi, No I do not feel strongly about your reversion, you clearly have more experience than me. But it was a first, It was his first century made against that specific team, does that still not clarify it to be included in Pakistani cricket team in Australia in 2016–17

WBBL02 match numbers

[edit]

Hi, I think the Cricinfo match numbers are incorrect, they are not the same as Cricket Australia's match numbers (which are in order of time). E.g. Heat vs Scorchers match was the first match on Saturday and is Match 10 on CA but Match 13 on Cricinfo. I suggest updating the group stage table and fixtures to align with CA match numbers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AliciaGarnett (talkcontribs) 09:07, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@AliciaGarnett: Hi, thankyou for your message, you are correct there seems to be some differences between the websites (CA and Cricinfo) but since CA are the Administrators of the league I think it would be a sensible idea to use them as the source for the page 2016–17 Women's Big Bash League season. I am in the process of adding the rest of the tournaments fixtures so I will base the match numbers according to CA website as mentioned already. You can feel free to fix match numbers for fixtures already on the page and/or revert the edit regarding 'reordering' that I made.

Moving pages

[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you recently moved Tony Wilds. Please remember that when you move a page, any previous wikilinks that pointed to it may need to be changed to point to the correct article. I believe I have now fixed the issue. See WP:FIXDABLINKS for more info. Thanks Jolly Ω Janner 08:44, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Jolly Janner: Hi, thanks for your message. I'm not aware of anything that can easily tell you what pages contain wiki links to a said page (For example the page: Tony Wilds (umpire)).
The left-hand panel when browsing Wikipedia has a section listed "Tool". Click the one at the top which says "What links here". Jolly Ω Janner 09:19, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2017 AFL Women's season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gold Coast. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
