Thank you all for this experience of editing Wikipedia. Unfortunately, I find that I no longer have the time to edit in the fashion that I did. Life goes on, as the philosopher McCartney says. To all of the friends I made here, I say farewell and hope that you do indeed fare well, both on Wikipedia and elsewhere. TNXMan 23:07, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for all your help, Tnxman. I hope you make it back someday. Tiderolls 23:13, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Me, too. You have been one of the good 'uns and your efforts are appreciated. Things may change regarding available time etc. I sincerely hope that they do. - Sitush (talk) 23:31, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to see you go, man. Was always a pleasure to chat with you and work at SPI together (back in the day). I hope life treats you well, SpitfireTally-ho! 00:15, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The door here remains open for you and we hope that you find your way back but if not I wish you well. Your service here has been commendable and you will be missed.

Sock of self?

Very small matter: please change User:LegrisKe to say of whom they are actually are a sock puppet. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:27, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tnxman wouldn't have the tools to find out who this user is a sock of, and the contribs are stale for CU purposes, and with an SPI under that username, I have changed the template. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 11:27, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for creation is desperately short of reviewers! We are looking for urgent help, from experienced editors, in reviewing submissions in the pending submissions queue. Currently there are 1024 submissions waiting to be reviewed and many help requests at our help desk.

Do you have what it takes?
  1. Are you familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines?
  2. Do you know what Wikipedia is and is not?
  3. Do you have a working knowledge of the Manual of Style, particularly article naming conventions?
  4. Can you review submissions based on their individual merits?

If the answer to these questions is yes, then please read the reviewing instructions and donate a little of your time to helping tackle the backlog. You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions. Plus, reviewing is easy when you use our new semi-automated reviewing script!
Thanks in advance, Nathan2055talk - contribs

Notice of change

Hello. You are receiving this message because of a recent change to the administrator policy that alters what you were told at the time of your desysopping. The effect of the change is that if you are inactive for a continuous three year period, you will be unable to request return of the administrative user right. This includes inactive time prior to your desysopping if you were desysopped for inactivity and inactive time prior to the change in policy. Inactivity is defined as the absence of edits or logged actions. Until such time as you have been inactive for three years, you may request return of the tools at the bureaucrats' noticeboard. After you have been inactive for three years, you may seek return of the tools only through WP:RFA. Thank you. MBisanz talk 00:20, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The sock back most likely

You remember finding out that User talk:PeterAmbrosia was a sockpuppet. Well I have reason to believe the sock is back, this time under the name User:ArealFatRabbit. Would you care to investigate that? Deltasim (talk) 05:45, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you delete the article whose subject appears above? It was not a blantant advertisement as you allege. Provide more info why you deleted it and not just blantant advertisement, if it was an advertisement kindly let the world know what I advertised. Eldakin569 (talk) 19:45, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was sharing knowledge to someone somewhere about what promotional mugs are and the types out there. Are you using this platform to champion your opinions because you have more edits than I do? Point me to an article on Wikipedia giving incites about what you deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eldakin569 (talkcontribs) 19:52, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That article was deleted July 2009 ... I suspect you're actually looking for the article you created today at Promotional mugs. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 19:53, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Now moved to Promotional mug.--ukexpat (talk) 19:59, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
My bad I had mis-typed the link. Thanks for the correction and I hope you understand that anyone goes mad when an article they created gets deleted. I am now normal and madness is over. Eldakin569 (talk) 20:33, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
