I don't have an external relation with D. Lord which will provoke me to create a wiki entry on him. He is the top contributor in crash count data modeling [1st in traffic operations and 4th in traffic safety (according to Google Scholar rankings)]. There are entries of top transportation researcher such as Fred Mannering (http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Fred_Mannering). There should be an entry on D. Lord too. Junior scholars like Khandker Nurul Habib (http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Khandker_Nurul_Habib) has wiki entries. In transportation field, it is very important to put the top legends in wikipedia. As this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them. A page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia.
