Hi! Just wanted to give a big thanks for the changes you made to the Stetson University page. For a long time, I've felt like the only one working on it at all (and unfortunately, time for me is limited). Keep up the great work! Riskbreaker2987 (talk) 03:45, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Stetson University, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Frank Farmer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

OK to say involved with StetsonU page?

[edit]

Hi, I've been moved back to the PR/Communications team at work and I know Wikipedia frowns on PR people editing their workplace pages. Was previously on Web Services team, doing the same work in social media and online marketing. Before that was on the PR/Comm team. Same workplace - StetsonU.

I've been editing the Stetson University page for several years and work hard to adhere to community standards. Am not a fan of PR speak.

I sporadically edit other pages as time permits. Plan to do much more after retirement from the day job in 3.5 years. I also support Wikipedia financially. OK, yes, that was PR on myself :)

Thanks! Gerri

Photo deletion

[edit]

Hello. I just changed licensing on three images on the http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Stetson_University page, per instruction from people far above my pay grade (I work at StetsonU). Basically, the images are not free for others to use, and I'm requesting that they be deleted. They were uploaded by one of my student workers who was using my login (I know, poor practice and it stopped long ago); in the student's defense, he had my OK to upload those photos at that time. But times have changed here. Thanks!

A kitten for you!

Hi Gerri! I only just clicked on your user page, I never realized you were the person maintaining the Stetson page! Hope all is well, congratulations on your book :)
