Revdel request

Hello, could this edit be revdelled? Egsan Bacon (talk) 13:03, 27 October 2022 (UTC)

Egsan Bacon, all set, thanks. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 13:06, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
Thanks! Egsan Bacon (talk) 13:07, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
Egsan Bacon - Just a friendly note that you'll want to email these requests to administrators instead of asking for revision deletion publicly. Otherwise, since this is a public place, requests like these will almost certainly start a Streisand effect, as users will rush over to see the edit before they lose access to viewing it. ;-) Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 00:54, 30 October 2022 (UTC)

Hi ScottishFinnishRadish! I hope you're having a great day, and oh yeah - I'm sorry to be so late to the party in offering my congratulations on your RFA! The reason I'm messaging you is in regards to Colemihaljevich6456rrsgster. You revoked this user's talk page access when blocking the user. This should not normally be done unless the user engages in abuse of their user talk page (not requesting an unblock or an appeal), or for users who would obviously do so (LTA users and such). Was there a specific reason that you did so in this case? If not, may I restore talk page access to this user? It's to make due process fair despite the fact that I highly doubt the user will turn themselves and their behavior around. ;-) Just ping me in your reply - I have too many pages on my watchlist as it is, and using the 'subscription' feature will likely lead to it becoming the same. ;-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 00:52, 30 October 2022 (UTC)

Oshwah, it was probably because I used the revert and block script. There has been an active LTA at TFA for a while now, and I've generally just been using that script while handling the large amounts of accounts and proxies. Feel free to restore access if you'd like, though. No objections on my part. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 01:02, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
Do you believe that it's them? LTAs generally love abusing their talk page access. If you have a belief that it might be them, I'll happily leave it alone. ;-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:07, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
Oshwah, they were disrupting the main article in the usual way, so it's pretty likely. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 01:11, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
Oh... well, then that case... I think I'll just go and get overly-distracted with other tasks that I need to complete, and forget about what I talked about here. Oops. ;-) Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:14, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
Oshwah, no worries. Always happy to explain my admin actions. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 01:16, 30 October 2022 (UTC)

Creative way to get votes: fake your own death

See also: Very important news!

Stupid news! So, a funeral was held for the leader of the Cuban Federales and mayoral candidate, Osvaldo Pingafria. But he wasn't actually dead, rather, it was a 500 IQ election stunt, which is sure to bring in the votes (somehow). However, someone forgot to inform James Randel, who responded, uh, somewhat 🔥 heatedly 🔥 El_C 14:31, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

Thanks to these links and my wife watching YouTube on the Roku, which is linked to my account, I have very weird suggestions. GTA roleplay and Cambodian cooking. At least the ads are still targeted, somewhat. The ad for TikTok was wasted on me, but the second ad for a sale at tractor supply was reasonable. Unfortunately for them I'm fixed for feed, forage, and fencing right now.
I finished that last series of books, solidly a C- effort by the author. Trope after trope, completely predictable, every good guy killed the bad guy they were set up against in the first book. The whole thing read like a 12 years old's d&d story after their parents let them watch game of thrones. I also refuse to believe that the main character's love interest has breath that "smells faintly of apples" after a month of forced marching and combat while eating hard tack and hunted meat.
I just started some apocalyptic zombie series which is also pretty bad so far, but it's a box set so I get 54 hours of listening for the cost of one book. It's another series not notable enough for an article by another author not notable enough for an author. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:05, 2 October 2022 (UTC)
Sorry, what apple series is this? Yeah, I've had YouTube Premium for like a year now and haven't looked back. But I'm unlikely to get the Twitch equivalent (Turbo or whatever the fuck it's called). I'm now half way through book 2 of the Green Rider series, First Rider's Call, and I'm still liking it a lot. It's taking me a while, but that's more due to being busy than lack of interest.
BTW, in the acknowledgments, Kristen Britain thanked not Terry Goodkind who gave the first book such a glowing review (as mentioned, a major river in the world is called Terrygood), but rather, John Marco, the author of the last series of books I read. Small book world! I also found out that she used to be a Park Ranger, so that explains the magical green riders
BTW BTW, while I appreciate DAW Books not being a conglomerate (though "In July 2022, DAW was acquired by Astra Publishing," its article says), holy smokes are their prints just for shit. Faded ink, un-bleached recycled paper, just the fuckin' worst. Oh well. El_C 15:33, 2 October 2022 (UTC)
The last series was The Faithful and the Fallen by John Gwynne, and the one I just started is Slow Burn by Bobby Adair. Sometimes I try books that I assume won't be good because it brings me back to my days as a kid buying and reading whatever was available at the flea market. The worst part about that was getting books from a series and never getting to read the other books.
I never bothered with YouTube premium because I normally watch YouTube on a PC with an ad blocker. All the streaming my wife and I use are ad-free though. We pay extra for Hulu and all that, I have too many hobbies to spend time watching ads. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 16:00, 2 October 2022 (UTC)
I only use PC, as well. Yeah, I did the ad-block thing on and off for many years (I think I created my YouTube account in 2009), but it was always a bit wonky and a pain to maintain, especially with certain extensions. YouTube Premium also has music options for YouTube's vast music library. And it isn't that expensive, so I've been pretty happy with what I get. El_C 16:09, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

Into the squeeze

Forgot to mention, new IH: Man in Cave (about Floyd Collins), which is always exciting as he posts even less frequently than Nexpo (see also spooky times at Wug's). Also, Incest Dragons is still great; Bored of the Rings still sucks, you know how it goes. El_C 15:07, 5 October 2022 (UTC)

Caves are scary. I'm not claustrophobic, and I've spent a lot of time in small crawlspaces, but there's something about being underground that is scary as fuck. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 16:10, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
Amazon spent a fortune on acquiring the rights to The Rings of Power and then no doubt spent another fortune on the production, culminating in a ponderous (boring is right!), more-is-better, badly acted (the actress playing Galadriel is dreadful), strangely political mess. As for crawl spaces, when I was a child, my father bought a fixer-upper to fix up himself with my older brother's and my help (my brother far more willing than I). When they put in baseboard heating, I was told to go under the house because I was the smallest, and I had to slither around while being told from above what to do. I was scared shitless (I was convinced the house was going to collapse), which left me traumatized for life. I don't think my father realized it at the time. Our current home has a very large "crawl space", but, unlike the fixer-upper, it's so high that one can walk upright in it, although occasionally ducking to avoid the duct work. Back to your regular channels.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:35, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
It's a super-scary situation, to be sure. Which is why I think the Ted the Caver creepypasta has gained so much traction over the years. IH has the rare talent, though, of presenting historical events that are, at times, highly disturbing, with diffusive humor that is genuinely funny, and yet does not detracts from the overall seriousness. El_C 16:31, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
As I've mentioned elsewhere, a key problem has to do with writers who have little to no writing experience, in general, and no respect for the lore, specifically. Those writers probably mirror the distorted view of the execs who hire them: for example, that a strong woman needs to be both a Mary Sue and interminably insufferable (that's because they, themselves, are like that, but see it as normal and good). Or that men (not of colour) should either be villains (actual or potential), incompetent, and/or simps. Contrast that with Incest Dragons, where, for example, women die from childbirth often, as was the case prior to modern medicine. Depicting that, one of the greatest struggles and hardships that women have faced through the ages, is infinitely more progressive than Bored of the Rings' superficial teenage-fanfic approach, not to mention immersive (i.e. realism, even with dragons).
While I strongly disagree with the right-wing politics of The Critical Drinker, he posted a good overview of the series thus far yesterday that I think highlights a lot of these problems. BTW, pretty much the only ads I see are on Twitch, which had a 10-second ad for the series that looked really enticing. How gullible was I? Now whenever I see that ad, I cringe.
I've had that fear, too, as a kid as well as an adult, of being in a tight space with enormous mass above me that I dread would collapse overtop of me, even though the chances of that approach zero. But the scariest, I find, is being stuck somewhere (deep) and no one knowing where you are. Luickly, it's something I've only experienced in dreams (which is to say, nightmares). El_C 17:19, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
I just finished watching the entire 19-minute YouTube; thanks for that. Is TCD's voice/accent as irritating to Brits as it is to this American? Putting aside that and his obvious love of his own voice, it was indeed a great critique of the show. One of my favorite lines referring to Galadriel, something like "Is she ever going to learn more than one facial expression?"--Bbb23 (talk) 17:52, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
Nice. Yeah, he has his moments. RE: accent — if I remember right, I think he's from Glasgow. El_C 18:01, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
If you remember correctly, he's actually easier to understand than most Scots. The irritating part isn't the accent as much as the cadence of his speech, which sounds a little like a Brit trying to imitate a Valley Girl (if you know what that sounds like).--Bbb23 (talk) 18:08, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
I do, but I never really picked up on that with him. Usually, when I watch something Scottish, like Trainspotting, etc., I need subtitles or I just can't understand half of it. But, indeed, that is not the case with TCD, who is relatively ease to understand. El_C 18:33, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
My wife and I were having this discussion about Rings of Bezos and Dr. Who Breaks Bad last night. I don't mind over the top political messaging, bad writing, or being overly ponderous, but all three at once is pretty bad. My wife actually said she'd rather watch Wheel of Time again than The Elf Who Never Learns. After the recap of the last episode before the new episode started I mentioned that it was longer than a normal TV show, and even recapping the excitement from previous episodes was still boring. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 18:09, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
My favorite part is the Skip Recap button.--Bbb23 (talk) 18:26, 5 October 2022 (UTC)

El C, I'm not trying to ignore, but every time I try to pay attention there's a new TFA coming to the main page and it turns into a whole thing. I had to protect my talk page! That's unfortunate, with all the edit requests I answer.
Those zombie books I'm reading aren't good, but they're actually fairly entertaining. A couple interesting takes on the genre, like emergent behavior and flock behavior. Quote of the series so far, from some infected with zombieitis and waiting to die and turn and being told he might be the one in ten thousand that recovers, paraphrased from memory, "Sure, that might happen, and I might shit out a time machine and travel back to prom night and play with (generic female name)'s big tits!" The character who said that had been pretty straight laced up until that point, and I actually laughed out loud at it. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 20:41, 15 October 2022 (UTC)
Oh. Nice? Well, my books are still good. Remember I mentioned how Kristen Britain thanked John Marco? Well, she now seems to be using part of his lore, specifically, the bygone Empire (and its emperor, Arkus) that's industrialized and who harness magic through science (they call it etheria). And there's time travel and shit, but astral; old enemies get resurrected, though not as zombieites, but as as powerful ske-letons. It's totally fun-in-the-black-sun! James gets new pants (fit like a dream)

Very important news! The gods (devs) have given James stylish new pants (immediately gets laid). El_C 20:25, 30 October 2022 (UTC)

In other news Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord just came out, with many pants. Very fun times, and an excellent display of his much it would suck to be involved in any old timey war, especially if you were a scrub without a horse, or trying to storm a castle. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 01:22, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
Oh, it's out, and good. I have fond memories of the original. And it sounds like it's playable, even, so I won't rant about the terrible norm these days of AAA games being released in a buggy, unfinished (and often bloated) form. Early access, early shmaccess. I realize that games have grown in complexity, but accompanying testing should likewise grow. Hey, I did rant! El_C 03:02, 31 October 2022 (UTC)

Racist

So that's something to look for: disgusting racist shit, added to BLPs of American characters and re-added in quick succession. Sometimes it's IPs, sometimes they have accounts, and they geolocate to Kentucky/Ohio. Block ASAP, revdelete, and semi-protect the article for a seriously long time. The editor is pretty pathetic, and is like a dog returning to their vomit, sometimes for years. Now that you have the bit, you have to deal with shit like this on a regular basis... Drmies (talk) 02:15, 3 November 2022 (UTC)

I'll keep an eye out for that, and go to protection quick if it matches the pattern. Just had to deal with more kiwifarms related disruption too. I knew it was bad from recent changes patrol, but it's really eye opening when you're doing admin patrolling. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 02:19, 3 November 2022 (UTC)

Recent closure

Hi. Thank you very much for your well formed and thoughtful closure at: Wikipedia_talk:What_Wikipedia_is_not#RFC_on_WP:NOTDIRECTORY_and_notability I thought you represented the consensus of neither side being able to convince the other quite well, and the fact that you left a good opening for more discussion on some possible better tuned wording that could be acceptable to both sides was excellent. However, I do have one small quibble about the part you mentioned regarding the point of view that IAR exists to remedy such situations, and my point of contention with that is I could only find one single editor who held that viewpoint, so it seemed like an extremely minority viewpoint for inclusion into the calculation of overall consensus, and I feel like it would be a bad idea to suggest to editors that such a minority view is something that should be relied upon as an interim remedy. By far, the better remedy (and the one with more consensus) is the one you alluded to about both sides coming together to find some better wording that is agreeable. I am very thankful that your closure was so well done it has actually given us a couple of remedies to think about, and that is more than I asked for in the closure request. I hate to be a pain, but would you consider modifying the close to either remove the part about IAR or at least clarify there was not a consensus for it so it should be taken as a suggestion as opposed to a remedy? Thank you. Huggums537 (talk) 09:54, 3 November 2022 (UTC)

In case you didn't want to remove, I have a suggestion you might consider: "it was suggested by one editor that IAR exists as a possible solution in such situations." Maybe you can think of something better. Huggums537 (talk) 10:14, 3 November 2022 (UTC)

Huggums537, the IAR comment was providing the most convincing argument against pointing out that some opposers were challenged for having ignored the letter of the current page. Of those few challenges, a large portion (1) provided a strong response in invoking IAR. I don't see a reason to adjust the statement. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 10:58, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
I don't have any problem with representing a convincing argument (fairly), that seems just fine, but you have also brought up a very interesting point that I had not considered because it does occur to me either side could invoke IAR to support their edits no matter if they were supporters or opposers, so I hope I will still be able to persuade you to modify it or remove it with my own convincing arguments because it now does appear as if the IAR argument is less of a remedy, and more of a brand new conflict. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say, and it will be apparent to you, but if not, I can try to explain in more detail. Huggums537 (talk) 12:05, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
Huggums537, I understand what you're saying, I just disagree that it requires further elaboration or clarification in the statement. Invoking IAR in such a way that that even those who support the other side of an RFC would agree that it is an improvement hardly opens the door for any use of IAR. I suggest you focus your efforts on finding an acceptable replacement for the text you challenged, some examples that are a good starting point can be found in the RFC. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 13:01, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
That is a pretty good suggestion. I appreciate the advice. I find it to be very helpful. I dunno maybe WP:BEANS applies... Huggums537 (talk) 13:48, 3 November 2022 (UTC)

I need someone with rollback to help at Mike Bennett (writer) please. Can you remove all of the vandalism changes by Steven bowden. I've managed to wade through some of them but there are too many. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Knitsey (talk) 01:01, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

I removed some obvious stuff, blocked a couple of accounts, protected for three months, and watchlisted. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 02:20, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you! I will go over the article later today and make sure everything is ok. I will ce and check the refs. Cheers, Knitsey (talk) 04:43, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
I'm sorry to be a pest. As all of the references were removed I was going to add all of the references as I need the practice but when I started it didn't add to the reference section. I know I need to add {{reflist}} to the article but being new I've no idea where to add that?
Can I ask you to fix it so that I can ho through the article and start adding references please? I'm ok with adding reliable sources, just not how to get them into the reference section. Sorry, Knitsey (talk) 16:26, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

See, I'm a numpty. I added reflist double brackets to the above message as that's what I was after and now the message is messed up and you're probably sat there eyerolling like mad and wondering how to tactfully write you're incompetent Knitsey and wondering if helping people om Wikipedia is really worth the effort. I should maybe just stick to gnoming. Knitsey (talk) 16:35, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

Knitsey, I fixed the display of the template above, so no worries about that. It looks like you were adding bare external links. References need to be in <ref>ref tags</ref>. Depending on which editor you're using, you should be able to click Cite at the top of the edit window to access cite templates that allow you to just enter urls and auto-generate the template. If you need any other help, let me know. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 21:33, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for the fix and the information. I used cite and added the ref which generated 1 as in first ref but it didn't add it to the ref list. I will give it a go tomorrow and try again using the ref tag. Thank you! Knitsey (talk) 21:55, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

A beer for you!

Did you really think a change to RfA would be "uncontroversial"? I am sorry that I somewhat stepped on your toes by proposing your RfA suggestion. I decided to do so because I figured you wouldn't be running back to deal with anything RfA-related any time soon. Raising this glass as a toast that to it being closed as successful. Now you can tell your wife that Wikipedia is slightly less dumb! HouseBlastertalk 03:27, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for writing that all up. I was definitely not in a mood to get involved in starting a discussion and RFC at the time. I'll let my wife know! ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 21:25, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

Hello, thanks for your help at Jessica Biel. However, I noticed that the semi-protection you put in is significantly shorter than the previous semi-protection which expired merely hours ago. Chekavar Page

Hello there,

I want to add the sentence, "The Chekavars were a warrior section within the Ezhava community, and served in the army of the Chera dynasty," in the lead paragraph of the Chekavar page, as is exactly given in the Ezhava main page, that too in its lead section. You can use the several references given at the end of the same sentence on the Ezhava page for the Chekavar page. This is because of 2 reasons: 1. the present Chekavar page lead is very short, and 2. this new sentence explains the historical and functional aspect of Chekavars in a nutshell.

please add this sentence to the Chekavar lead section, thank you. 2402:3A80:19A0:FF2E:44FC:46F2:E0F7:5A1F (talk) 06:47, 10 November 2022 (UTC)

Asking for your opinion

Hello, Sir @ScottishFinnishRadish! It's me again, is it possible for Draft:Overload_(EP) to be published ahead of its release? I think there is enough references. The only thing I am not sure is the article's notability. May I ask your opinion about the said draft? If it is not yet ready, may I ask for things to be improved? Thanks! - jampol 03:21, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

Jpmagabo9, I can read any of the sources, but they all look to be from the same media outlet. I think you'd be better off waiting until it's released and you can include some reviews. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 21:24, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you, Sir @ScottishFinnishRadish. - jampol 05:22, 7 November 2022 (UTC)
Hello, Sir @ScottishFinnishRadish! Could you please take a look again at Draft:Overload_(EP)? I tried to improve it and I just wanna ask for your opinion about the said draft. Thank you! - jampol 01:57, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
Currently the entire promotion section is inspected, and I still think you should wait for reviews and chart data. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 02:03, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
Hello again, Sir @ScottishFinnishRadish! I updated the draft and the chart data is now up, unfortunately, I cannot find any reviews from critics. What can I do more to further improve the draft? Thanks! - jampol 09:34, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
I think it's likely fine as-is, although again I'm not highly versed in album notability and how it plays out at WP:AFD and the like. Give it some time to see if a reviewer takes a look at it, as there is no rush to get it into mainspace. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 23:51, 17 November 2022 (UTC)

Hello, ScottishFinnishRadish,

I just thought I'd let you know that, among administrators, there are mixed views about whether or not CSD G4 applies to Draft space. Some admins believe that the AFD applies to the subject and these drafts should be deleted. Others, and I include myself, think that editors should be allowed to try to overcome an AFD deletion decision by writing a better version of a deleted article. Draft space is the only place to really do this. However, in this case today, I suspect sockpuppetry or paid editing was involved and so I think the page deletions were a good idea. But since you are one of our newer admins, I just thought I'd pass this tip along.

The only real policy guidance at CSD G4 is that G4 doesn't apply to articles moved to Draft space say, as the decision of an AFD discussion. But recreated articles? It doesn't say anything about that.

This difference of approach among admins should probably be decided in an RFC at WT:CSD one day and I imagine that these discussions have been started in the past and came to No Consensus. If you ever peruse the archives at WT:CSD you'll find that almost every criteria has been the subject of heated debate throughout the years. Right now, G4 in draft space is still unresolved. Have a good weekend! Liz Read! Talk! 04:36, 20 November 2022 (UTC)

Liz, thanks for reaching out, and I appreciate the information. When I was looking at the history of those drafts and pages I saw that they had been repeatedly recreated with the same content and that other admins had also deleted as G4, so I felt pretty comfortable with the speedy. I agree that there's definitely some grey area around the use of G4 in draft space, but in this circumstance I didn't see it as contentious. Hello, dear admin, please restore Masoud Minaei's page. Masoud is a professional player with many titles. thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by 33stefan (talkcontribs) 00:27, 25 November 2022 (UTC)

Stop recreating articles and drafts that have been deleted after community discussion. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:52, 25 November 2022 (UTC)

Edit request

I requested for semi protected edit request 4 days before. But it was not done by anyone. Can you please do it like this. 103.166.245.254 (talk) 13:18, 24 November 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for the revert on my talk page

No idea what the message was. As it has been rev/del I assume it was something weird. I don't need to know lol. Thanks, Knitsey (talk) 13:29, 24 November 2022 (UTC)

No problem. Glad to be of service, and glad I caught it quick. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:28, 25 November 2022 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

Blocked as a WP:DUCK. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 02:20, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
Ok, thanks. Knitsey (talk) 02:23, 26 November 2022 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you for blocking the vandal. Can you protect the page as well? It's already at RfPP. TornadoLGS (talk) 22:26, 17 November 2022 (UTC)

I gave it two months. Hopefully it calms down after the new year. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 22:38, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you, though this guy has been a thorn in our side for years. TornadoLGS (talk) 22:40, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
It's weird what some people get hung up on. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 22:44, 17 November 2022 (UTC)

Saw you are on....

Would you mind blocking User:GurlSilly? See the Sandra Oh debacle. S0091 (talk) 00:05, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

Widr beat me to it. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:06, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
Well then, mind protecting Ohio State Buckeyes football for a bit? S0091 (talk) 00:12, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
All set. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:18, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
Thanks! Lots of "activity" this evening. S0091 (talk) 00:21, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
Mind protecting Sandra Oh (see GutsyFunk, likely to continue)? S0091 (talk) 00:26, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
Liz got it. I was letting them burn a few more autoconfirmed socks while people were paying attention before protecting. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:30, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
Yeah. Just got back from the in-laws and was looking to relax. No dice on that, I guess. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:27, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
Leave this place now! Thanks for the assist. S0091 (talk) 00:34, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
Eh, this is more or less relaxing. Passively watching whatever movie my wife is watching while hitting some buttons. Could be worse, I'm not sanding anything. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:39, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

I just asked MaterialScientist for a rollback on all of those edits. I think it needs to go back to this edit? [6] Thanks Knitsey (talk) 00:16, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

Already done. You should use WP:TWINKLE or WP:REDWARN, both of which add "restore this version" functionality. You can also just go to that diff, select edit page, then save the edit to restore that version. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:18, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
I'm on my mobile but next time I will switch to desktop to see if that option works. Thanks. Knitsey (talk) 00:20, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
I mostly edit from the desktop site using my phone, so that's an option as well. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 00:21, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for that. It will make things easier! Knitsey (talk) 00:24, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

I think you missed one

User:108.20.219.178 [7] 20:02, 27 November 2022 (UTC) TheNewMinistry (talk) 20:02, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

TheNewMinistry, I just didn't think it was worth edit warring over, and figured someone else would have reverted if there was an objection aside from mine. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 20:11, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
They inserted a link to preorder the subject's book in addition to starting a new account to get around 3RR, which seems way over the line. Just making you aware. 20:41, 27 November 2022 (UTC) TheNewMinistry (talk) 20:41, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
I hadn't noticed the link. Thanks for the heads up. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 20:50, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
