Photo Size
[edit]Hi. I too was surprised to find the photo was the wrong size, since wikipedia is supposed to automatically make such things right. I do not have an answer to your question yet. I will experiment with restoring the photo this weekend, June 3 or 4. Rwflammang 13:31, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Church Tour015 edited.JPG
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Church Tour015 edited.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 16:26, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Spitalkirchestmangmonastory049.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Spitalkirchestmangmonastory049.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:09, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

The task force dedicated to creating and improving articles on all German cities and municipalities is happy to announce that there are now (at least) stub articles for all municipalities of Germany. Now the task force is looking for help in fleshing these out a little bit. The current phase of activity for the task force is to copy in infoboxes from the articles in German Wikipedia. If you want to help, even just for a few articles, look at the instructions and links here
There are now way over 26.000 articles tagged as part of our Wikiproject and many still need either an importance or a quality assessment. Also there are many more out there that do need to be tagged like approx 8000 municipalities. If you would like to help take a browse through Articles needing Importance assessment or Articles needing a basic quality assessment. |

Category
[edit]No. The reason is common subcategorization. The reason why "Rivers of Germany" cat is still there is, because the subcategories by länder aren't created yet. "Rivers of Bavaria" etc. should appear in the future and it will be the time, when also parent Rivers of Germany category will be removed from articles which will be properly categorized by länder. - Darwinek (talk) 20:13, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Problems with upload of Image:BishopandVicarGeneral.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:BishopandVicarGeneral.JPG. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Fontevrault Chapel
[edit]Thank you for your message about Fontevrault Chapel: I do have the news about the sale of the Vicarage including the chapel but only up to the time it was put in the hands of Humberts of Truro. It may be hard to find a buyer for it as there are all the problems of listed building status as well as the economic situation in 2009. If it is sold I assume the chapel would have to be deconsecrated (it has been used for worship since 1925). It will probably be better to mention it fairly briefly and I will certainly put something in the article. The Vicarage could really have had a mention before: it is the end of a long tradition since the vicars of Tintagel have probably lived on the site since the middle of the 13th century though nothing is recorded until the end of the 17th century.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 17:06, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of File:Eucharisticrenewal2.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Eucharisticrenewal2.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:
- state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
- add the relevant copyright tag.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. St Paul's Church
[edit]"30,000 piece mozaic of St Paul regaining his eyesight.Located in the Catholic Chucrh,Tintagel,Cornwall,UK" the spelling should be 'mosaic' and 'Church'.
- I am glad it has been corrected: I know very little German so we can use English. I am finding it strange to be do Wikipedia at all today as it is a Holy Day of great significance. I see you have filled in the historical background as a mission church: the social hall was built in the 1920s I think and during World War II many people from south-east England were evacuated to Tintagel to avoid bombing.----Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 16:46, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

St Paul's church
[edit]Hello again, I looked again today at the German WP article for Tintagel and see that it does not mention St Paul's church. It would improve that article if it had a little information and also one picture.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 03:09, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:08, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
The file File:Logo-CanFfP&ILRd.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused logo with no article used, it's also can't move to commons because of an unused logo will be deleted as of out of project scope.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Willy1018 (talk) 07:44, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
