Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please refer to MOS:HEADINGS for the proper heading level conventions. The article Luyten b has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. No original research

[edit]

Please stop adding your own views to Wikipedia articles. This is against Wikipedia policy of no original research, see WP:OR. In particular please stop adding a list of planets to the mega-Earth article. There are no references describing these as mega-Earths or even rocky planets, that's just your own interpretation of the data. Fdfexoex (talk) 16:47, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about K2-187b

[edit]

Hello, ProtoJeb21,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether K2-187b should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/K2-187b .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Lithopsian (talk) 19:40, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve K2-157b

[edit]

Hi, I'm Graeme Bartlett. ProtoJeb21, thanks for creating K2-157b!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Not every exoplanet needs an article. WP:GNG applies, where there should be more than one writing about the planet, with substantial content.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
