What wikipedia is not

[edit]

Hi. I saw you prodded What wikipedia is not, which is a redirect to wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Note that {{prod}} is only for articles; redirects should be listed at WP:RfD. Also, please don't cite WP:CNR as an argument to delete a cross-namespace redirect because WP:CNR isn't accepted yet. Thanks. --Zoz (t) 16:56, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've changed the tag on What wikipedia is not and WikiProject Elements from {{prod}} to {{rfd}}. If you'd like to nominate them, you can do so at Wikipedia:Redirects for deletion. Thank you. --Zoz (t) 17:04, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chemical element templates

[edit]

Hi. I suggested something the Category_talk:Chemical_element_symbol_templates page, so I'd hope that you as a user involved in this could look at the suggestion I put there under your suggestion. Nihiltres 17:27, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SpywareStrike has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt the subject might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability for the relevant concerns. An example of notability guidelines can be found at Wikipedia:Notability (websites). If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that the article meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. Template cleanup

[edit]

It seems at some point you created a lot of redirects for chemical elements. None of them are being used after over three months of existence. None of the redirects have any transclusions or links to them; would you object to me deleting them (listed below)? Cheers. --MZMcBride 17:28, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PFOA and carcinogenic potential

[edit]

I thought you would be interested to know that PFOA was a proven rodent liver carcinogen as early as 1999 and more likely years earlier.[1] I saw your statement to the contrary here and I corrected it.[2] If you are aware of any other non-verified (using Wikipedia as a source) similar false statements floating around out there could you please fix them? I meant nothing personal by my strong correction on the DuPont talk page. Thanks, -Shootbamboo (talk) 14:39, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of PAL Spyware Remover

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article PAL Spyware Remover, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable software; unsourced, no assertion or indication of notability.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
