If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.
If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alphax τεχ 3 July 2005 08:27 (UTC)

Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Merging, redirecting, and renaming pages
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.
Remember to place any articles you create into a category so we don't get orphans.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.

There's my welcome :) Also, if you see fit, go here Redwolf24 02:12, 16 July 2005 (UTC)
Scooby Doo
[edit]No hard feelings, just wanted to make sure that you were aware: when putting something up for speedy deletion, it has to strictly fit the rules at WP:CSD. If it doesn't clearly fall under one of them, you can bring it to votes for deletion instead. Best wishes and keep editing, Meelar (talk) 19:19, July 14, 2005 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Hangman
[edit]Thany you for adding the unsigned post template to a certain IP's post, but if you don't mind, please don't do that in the future. The reason being is that one of the rules is that you must sign your sig (~~~~) to the post or it gets deleted. So if the user is too lazy to add their sign then it is just as fair to not add their guess. Feel free to talk to me on my talk page. -Hoekenheef 01:08, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
Iron ration listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Iron ration. Since you had some involvement with the Iron ration redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. BDD (talk) 22:07, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
