August 2011

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Czechia (one-word name of the Czech Republic), as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. Cst17 (talk) 10:09, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I did not do it !!! Somebody else redirected and erased all my article !!! This is scadalous !

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Czechia (one-word name of the Czech Republic). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you.   — Jeff G.  ツ 13:56, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think you would care more about the fact, that the article is completely erased by one person and the blank page is redirected to the different page without any discussionNeewi (talk) 14:00, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not attack other contributors, as you did with this edit to User talk:Mewulwe. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing.   — Jeff G.  ツ 14:08, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If my comment is an attack and deleting of the article without the real contra-arguments, using only some offenses as comments, is OK, i can say that your general attitude is not objective.

Edit-war It looks like your draft of this article has some good content, but I think it would be more better to incorporate that into Names of the Czech Republic rather than create an article for this term itself. —Justin (koavf)TCM18:14, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don´t want any war, but the claim, that the article is NONSENSE, other offenses and simple deletion, however almost every sentence is supported by some reference, specialist´s opinions (geography, linguistics, history, etc.) is a kind of arrogance. Thank you for the advice.Neewi (talk) 07:41, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for detailing the history of the name Czechia and its proper use for English speakers. I hope it returns to the Name of the Czech Republic. That would be the perfect place for this article! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vidushaka (talkcontribs) 05:42, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Surreal Barnstar
I award you for your unflagging struggle for victory of common sense in area of linguistics (especially in relation to our homeland). Iaroslavvs (talk) 16:25, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I am glad somebody here is rational and understanding the heart of the matter. Unfortunately, this struggle is very hard, because every argument was deleted (not by native speakers, but by Czech admins). I cannot help, but i am convinced i fight against personal opinions, neither against any objective statement, nor well educated people. Neewi (talk) 08:03, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:PragueSpring.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:PragueSpring.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Neewi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Burials in Czechia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

File permission problem with File:CZ encyclopedies.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:CZ encyclopedies.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 18:05, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

December 2015

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Yopie. Your recent edit to the page Czech Republic appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Yopie (talk) 00:15, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Czech Republic, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Josef Suk. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:27, 4 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Czechia (one-word name of the Czech Republic) listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Czechia (one-word name of the Czech Republic). Since you had some involvement with the Czechia (one-word name of the Czech Republic) redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. -- Tavix (talk) 16:04, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jan Blanicky, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.  - R9tgokunks 01:22, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
