Libel issue (titled by myself for archival purposes)

Thank you for the response to my question on the Libel issue. Clearly I was not the source of this post. What's more, the poster of the copyright material and the erroneous posts on wikipedia is being charged in the state of Florida with cyber crimes, and the case is currently with the Florida Attorney General for determination. Included in the offenses is the use of my legal name online without my permission, which is a privacy violation and a Felony offense in Florida. Please be sure that all posts of my legal name are removed from wikipedia. Thank you. Timmy4412 (talk) 20:56, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Just as a follow up, I noticed that the entry made by the user 'idiotikink' including my personal information is still posted. If I understand correctly, this page is no longer searchable on wikipedia. If that is the case, that is acceptable. However, please be advised that there is a pending civil suit against this user for making such posts, and this post may become part of the case. I would suggest removing the post as a precaution as to avoid involvement in the criminal investigation, and possibly being viewed as supporting the defamatory actions of this user. Thank you. Talkback

Hello, MrSchimpf. You have new messages at Jéské Couriano's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Speedy deletion

I noticed that you tagged the page File:TITLE11 0001.jpg for speedy deletion with the reason "screenshot is too blurry to differentiate subjects of claimed article". However, "screenshot is too blurry to differentiate subjects of claimed article" is not currently one of our criteria for speedy deletion, so I have removed the speedy deletion tag. You can use WP:FFD if you still want the page to be deleted. Thanks! Stifle (talk) 17:12, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Friendly nudge

Hello. Pursuant to the {{user AGF}} userbox on your page, I just wanted to recommend you review WP:BITE as it pertains to your recent edits on User talk:Prof.Sherif. Best regards --Eustress (talk) 06:55, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Accused of Socking

You've been accused of sockpuppetry for no reason what so ever by User:Notabilitypatrol. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Unknown Puppetmaster.  єmarsee Speak up! 00:42, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Well most people do wear socks, and if someone took that literally, I can see WP:SSP being filled up in an instant. I don't think that the user is joking, he seems to be quite serious to edit TBTL to the he likes it. It could be a case of thinking he/she owns an article.  єmarsee Speak up!
Good to hear everything worked out. :)  єmarsee Speak up! 05:00, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

What Attack?

I made no attack in any welcome statement and, unless you plan on indicating what part of my welcome statement to the user in question was an attack I'd kindly ask you refrain from posting on my Talk page as unfounded accusations border on harassment. Notabilitypatrol (talk) 18:41, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Attribution

Over the years, most of the pre-1995 material you've posted here has not included any citations, leading me to believe that you've grabbed it from my website. Your latest edit to WMLW-CA was likely taken from either my website or my new book on the history of Milwaukee TV. Would it be too much ta ask you to cite your sources? I've spent hundreds of hours digging out the information from various sources. Thank you. Nitelinger (talk) 18:42, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

I reverted your edit to this page. I don't see the point in removing links just because there is a template (on another article). Also, if an edit of yours is reverted I suggest you try to discuss it on the talk page instead of reverting it again and again. See BRD. Garion96 (talk) 22:14, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
