Regarding the deletion of Mindy Gledhill. Mindy Gledhill's single "Crazy Love" was released in Korea recently. It charted at #1 on the Pop chart for Bugs music (an equivalent to the itunes pop chart in the US). [1] Wouldn't this in addition to her winning several pearl awards make her a notable musician? Note: she further features on three tracks on a Billboard Top 200 charting album by DJ Kaskade. Waytagojoe (talk) 04:16, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- Hi I missed your note the other day. You should have posted it in the debate rather than on my page after the debate ended! I'm not familiar with that chart and can't comment on it's notability. I don't know if her contributions to Kaskade's record make her notable, not every musician who contributes to an notable album is necessarily notable. The issue as I see it, is that there has been very little written about her elsewhere. Find a few published articles about her specifically and you'll have a good basis for an article and can try again. -MrFizyx (talk) 14:17, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
DYK for Three Fishers
[edit]On 15 April 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Three Fishers, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that when Antoinette Sterling sang the English folk song "Three Fishers" in the late 1800s, she made the first verse "quite bright" so as not to give away the unhappy ending? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Re: Song lists
[edit]It's going to be a lot to take on, but I'll snag them for as long as I can. Have you asked other editors to claim them? ----DanTD (talk) 03:45, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I can live with that. But in the meantime you should also look for other interested editors. I noticed you have a lot of redlinks there. Were you trying to revive those? ----DanTD (talk) 01:45, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
whoops
[edit]You may see a rollback (which I've then self-reverted) on one of your AFD contributions. That was a simple finger slip, sorry for any confusion. --joe deckertalk to me 19:15, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

The Rough Guide to Blues 100 Essential CDs
[edit]hello,
do you still have this book? If yes, could you say how they felt about At Newport 1960, and maybe quoting some quotes? Not compelling, but nice to feature some more text. Thanks.--♫GoP♫TCN 11:46, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- I am sorry, but I no longer have access to the resource I used. I this particular case, I only had access to an online resource with scans of the table of contents. I never read the commentary, but did confirm that this CD was one of 100 included by the authors of the book. -MrFizyx (talk) 04:29, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
