If you leave me a message about an article, I may move it to that article's talk page without further notification. The best thing to do is to make your comment on that article's talk page, leaving only a brief message here to let me know about it.

Note that I do not always follow the optional 'BOLD, revert, discuss cycle' - sometimes WP:BRB is more appropriate. See WP:BRD-NOT, and please do feel encouraged to engage in discussions I start on article talk pages.

I am quite fussy about reliable sources - see WP:SCHOLARSHIP and WP:QUESTIONABLE. Books are not automatically reliable sources, even if they come from a "big" publisher. A lot of popular "factual" books are written to entertain and inform, but don't necessarily pass the more stringent tests. Please don't be offended if I don't accept the pedigree of your favourite book - it's not necessarily wrong, but it I may feel there's an objective reason for thinking it doesn't have the scholarly traceability it needs to be considered "reliable".

I blank this page from time-to-time, removing finished conversations.

Problem with your custom signature

[edit]

Hello, I'm sending you this note because you need to update your signature. You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. Your signature does not link to your account. This is usually because your account has been renamed.

To fix your signature, you need to find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences and either blank it or change the link to your current account name. More information is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. mw:New requirements for user signatures/Help#Wrong user links. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures.

[edit]

An editor has identified a potential problem with the redirect Revans Academy and has thus listed it for discussion. This discussion will occur at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2022 February 28#Revans Academy until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. -- Tavix (talk) 15:48, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Fender Vibrolux

[edit]

Hello, The Parson's Cat,

Thank you for creating Fender Vibrolux.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

You need to add references, and a project tag could do with being added to the Talk page!

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Alexandermcnabb}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

@Alexandermcnabb and Zhyla: Can I put you two guys in touch, please? My role in Fender Vibrolux was simply to create a redirect to a more general page on Fender amplifiers. It was Zhyla (talk · contribs) who effectively created the current page. For what it's worth, I think it's great thing to do if you can solve the WP:RS problem.
