DYK for Daiki Kobayashi

[edit]

On 7 September 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Daiki Kobayashi, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Daiki Kobayashi was already known for his androgynous voice when he was cast as a cross-dressing idol in The Idolmaster SideM? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Daiki Kobayashi. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Daiki Kobayashi), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Article references

[edit]

Hello and how are you? I've noticed that, on articles you created, the way you format references are quite inconsistent especially when it comes to language parameters. By all means, you added "en" parameter to English sources but not the language code in foreign ones accordingly instead (e.g. "ja" for Japanese sources). Please confer Help:Citation Style 1#Language: When the only source language is English, no language is displayed in the citation. Could you possibly be consistent with adding language parameters in references for your future article creations? Thanks. ⋆。˚꒰ঌ Clara A. Djalim ໒꒱˚。⋆ 12:07, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Clariniie: Thank you, got it. Well, the thing is, that's the issue with using ProveIt. ミラP@Miraclepine 15:22, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Miraclepine. Sorry for the long, slow slog that the DYK process for Diplodus argenteus has been. I wanted to check on something with you before I find time to make another round of edits. I think that most of the issues in the original nomination have been fixed, removed, or reworded. That said, I'm not where the unreferenced statement in paragraph four is located. Do you mind letting me know? From what I can tell this issue, plus the unreferenced biology section, are the final two issues in your original comment and I would like to set aside the time to deal with them both at once, and then reply to you in the DYK nom to note that. Ryan shell (talk) 21:40, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ryan shell: I'm in break time and can't do much now, but I'll note that the unsourced claims are the only issue left. The unsourced statement is They can even be found in the waters around Bermuda, but are not especially common. I'm adding some citation needed tags to make it easier to pinpoint what claims you need to source. ミラP@Miraclepine 23:29, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ryan shell: Wait, that edit where these tags were added wasn't saved? I've added them (plus minor fixes). Oh, and almost forgot: please take all comments related to this DYK to the relevant page Template:Did you know nominations/Diplodus argenteus for convenience, and keep that in mind in the future; pings also help centralizing the comments. ミラP@Miraclepine 02:54, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
